"This safe fits the vehicle perfectly and reduces the usable space within the console by only a small amount.

It will comfortably hold a small carry pistol in a holster such as a Beretta Nano or Ruger LCR, or both together! but it will not accept a "large" gun like a Walther PPQ or Glock 17, even unholstered. Certainly will not hold my Ruger Alaskan. Even so, I really only use this safe to store some cash in the truck and have a safe place to conceal my carry pistol when I go someplace where I must remove it from my body.
