"I had an terrible experience with the delivery company. Set up 2 separate times for delivery and they never showed up. Third time the delivery man called and said he couldn't deliver because his truck could not travel down my road. UNTRUE, my husband ended up meeting delivery man at grocery store and took safe off his truck and put it in his pickup. Then to make matters worse the keys did not fit the safe. What a JOKE!"
"I was really looking forward to doing business here but I did not have a great experience. I ordered a Cannon safe with a lead time of 4-6 weeks. I called on week 6 and was told "should be anytime now". I call back on week 7 and I am told we are having problems with getting safes from Cannon because they moved and want to offer you a different safe. Kinda upset that I waited 7 weeks to be told I waited for nothing. The Cannon safes are still listed on the site with 4-6 week lead time. I feel bad for other customers who are getting false information. I was offered a safe that was sold to me as an "upgrade" but really all they did was offer me a Dakota Safe that had similar features that would preserve their margin. I was told I would also be getting back 100 dollars. I had to ask for that refund before it actually happened. I was told the replacement safe was in stock and could be in my state in 4 days. 2 weeks later, the delivery date arrived finally (not even close to 4 days). The delivery company scheduled my "white glove delivery" and I waited for the safe between 12-4pm. 4pm comes around and they call and say truck broke down. We are trying to get another crew to help deliver. We will be there but not until 7. 6:45 comes around and I get another call, second truck broke down. "Sometimes it happens in cold weather". It was 40 here in Chicago. Not cold. Have to take another day off work. The 4 person crew who showed up have NEVER moved a safe before. They didn't even know how to get it off the skid, I had to show them. They were unprofessional and had no clue what they were doing. When putting the safe in my room, they tore the molding off the door and did not show me until after I signed for the delivery. I am still waiting on re-imbursement. Marty and the team at Gunsafes.com have been very polite and professional during the whole thing and I believe they mean to deliver a better experience then this. Unfortunately it did not work out for me that way. "

"I ordered a safe from the web site based on the specifications of the given safe. After repeated calls, waiting over six weeks, and having to finally escalate the matter to a manager named Sara since the account rep named Marty never offered a response, I had to change the model that I ordered since it turned out that the original safe was not available. It took almost another 3 weeks for the safe to finally show up, as I had paid for full inside delivery but the information was initially transferred to a curbside-only delivery company instead of one that delivers inside of a residence. When the safe finally did show up, the add-on dehumidifier that I purchased was missing from my order, and I had to get a refund on that item. Purchasing the safe from gunsafes.com was an arduous process that I would not recommend to anyone, and would also not recommend even dealing with this company, since they really have no clue what they are doing when it comes to selling gun safes, despite the name of their website."

Ordered 11/22, shipped on 11/25 (the first time) and according to the ups tracking info was to arrive 12/2. Perfect!...

Got an email that my package was in Vermont, just a little off the mark from Minnesota. Called the Barska rep, he was going to look into it and get back in touch with me... no call back.
I get another email that my order is being returned to sender, bad delivery info. I double checked my receipt and the delivery info was correct. Another call out to the Barska rep, no call back.
Following day I get another email that my order has shipped (again) 12/3, to deliver 12/9 and it arrived finally on 12/10.
Overall I understand that things happen, and to be honest it's not the end of the world that the product took 18 days to arrive, but the customer service I received on the phone both times I called was just plain crappy. Communication, apology when things go wrong, follow up, and finding out what it will take to make your customer happy are pretty basic things..."
"this safe is great and the price was excellent.the only thing you should probable change is the door adjusters, i have adjusted them to the very top of the slots, the adjusters won't go any lower and the door still rattles. the adjusters and slots need to be longer allowing more adjustment. "
"This sale has been miserable. I bought a barska safe 4 weeks ago. This safe arrived dead. The battery panel is only located on the inside. Barska would not help me. I called gunsafes.com, the customer service lady was very nice. She transferred me to Marty. He called barska and got them to talk with me. He never checked back after that. He has no idea that those idiots at Barska still have not resolved my issue. Im still waiting for barska to send me the keys To get in. I have to hope dead batteries are the reason it doesnt work. AGAIN AFTER FOUR WEEK I HAVENT SEEN THE INSIDE OF MY $700 SAFE. Barska a is a terrible company. I don't plan on using you or barska ever again. From now on ill be ordering safes from the local store. "Timely delivery and easy ordering. The only problem was the final delivery. For some reason the delivery company had the wrong address and were annoyed at me like it was my fault. I showed them my order confirmation with the correct address but it didn't seem to matter. Shipping was free so i really can't complain."
