Very soon after placing my order I received the first e-mail explaining the backlog of orders, the manufacturer's commitment to production, and I was advised that my order would be filled in the order of receipt. I waited. Soon I received more apologetic e-mails thanking me for my patience. As I thought about giving up, I received yet another offering me cancellation if I wanted. "Safe was backordered at time of sale, was ok by me and the safe arrived on schedule.
Very dissatisfied with Gunsafes.com because the safe did not and still doesn't work properly. THe lock catches so you have to use 2 hands to open it, one hand holding the door shut while pushing the code with the other-I emailed them and tried to call and got no response. Their customer service is extremely poor and here I sit with a sub standard gun safe."

"Yea, I got my gun safe today! It arrived in perfect condition. I bought the Liberty Fatboy Jr. 48. An added bonus was the pockets on the door! I did not know it was included. I love this safe. One thing to consider- be prepared to move it in the house yourself. The delivery is only to the garage unless you set it up otherwise. Also, the safe will take about 3 months to arrive as they are back ordered and building them for you. You can't beat this safe for the price!"

"The gun safe is very eye appealing, I bought the 56 series, 20 gun safe, I don't believe this safe will hold 20 guns, I have 5 shotguns and rifles and that fills it, I may be able to get one more shotgun in, the shelf system brackets did not line up with the side wall brackets so I had to jury rig the shelf so it would be level, the inside door panel has 4 screws that hold it in place, I had to remove one because the safe handle would not close or open, the clip on door panel accessory bag was too big so that was returned, I expected more quality from a USA made product, what a shame.I called GS to ask about why the locking system did not work and i was told to call Rhino Safe, Rhino Safe told me to call Gunsafes.com back to figure it out, that's when I decided to remove the door panel and noticed one of the panel screws was stopping the bar that opens and closes the lock bolts, I removed the screw and it works fine, It just needed some quality control, It also took a month longer to receive, I would not mind that provided the safe did not have any issues, I built another shelf to take up the wasted space in the top area, that would have been nice if the shelf system included a shelf with the gun barrel cut out for the top, anyway the bugs are out and I'm ok with it, just somewhat disappointed."

"Our safe arrived in exactly 8 weeks as promised. The truck driver was super nice and backed up right in front of the garage and used pallet jack to unload it into our garage. We inspected in and there were no issues. What we ordered is what we got. We are very happy with our service and the safe we ordered. Thank You!"

"Picked up GunVault GVB2000 Biometric MultiVault. I've had no problems with programming fingerprints into the safe. I have used others with no fingerprints programmed in as controls to try and open and the safe stays secure. This model has interior LED light (which could be better, but any light is better than none in this case).

As for Gunsafes.com itself, the site let me know the product was backordered and gave me an expected ship date, which the company matched.

I have not yet needed to contact customer service, so won't comment on that aspect. "
