"I scheduled a trip for my wife's birthday and then my grandmother passed away suddenly. I went to cancel my flight and file a claim, but somehow cancelled the insurance. The first call I made, they said the policy was cancelled and nothing could be done, but the second phone call, someone realized I did have coverage and made and error and then they reinstated my policy and paid my claim in full. They made a tough situation better. I was very appreciative."
"Though the website made it sound as if medical insurance was provided and easy to access the reality was much different. The main issue is that there is no way to check what doctors are in network with this provider before you travel or if this service was available I could not find it. Once my husband got ill overseas there was no one really who would be able to help as most of the doctors that were available only provided emergency service from a hospital. As my husband's issue was not technically an emergency there was no one we could go to and we have had to wait until our return home to see a doctor.

"I used their previous products for multiple trips outside the USA. Now, however, I am told that New York State does not allow for insurance for multiple trips. This makes the insurance rather expensive.
That aside, I chose to stay with them. I took the insurance. One month later, I went for insurance for another trip and the website did not remember any of my previous information and did not autofill. Annoying. I do not have easy, ready access to my health plans and numbers.
Fortunately, I have not needed to test the coverage...yet."

"My first contact was with Joseph Anderson. He pretty much took my name and birthdate and sent me to a website for me to complete. Afterwards, I couldn’t print it out. Called back twice and he would not return my calls. Finally I got in touch with Kimberly in customer service and she transferred me to Crystal. They were very helpful and apologetic. I had been charged for the Insurance but it is very concerning to think you could be in a foreign country and not have proper health insurance. This took several days to work through.
