First, their packaging was horrible. All of the items I ordered were tossed into a box of styrofoam peanuts. Why is that a problem? They didn't bag any of it, including the heat sink. If you've ever spent 30 minutes cleaning bits of styrofoam out of a heat sink, you'll understand why that's a problem. They didn't even put the RAM in an antistatic bag; it was taped up (partially, anyway) inside of some regular bubble wrap. That's probably why the RAM was DOA.
Second, I paid for UPS Blue 2nd day air shipping. UPS delivered several days late.
Hardcore Cooling doesn't put phone numbers on their invoices... For a reason. Their "support" sucks. It took about 18 emails, to every email address I could find, and to that of the owner, to get a reply. I finally did get an RMA for the bad RAM. But, they didn't exchange it. They sent it back, saying that they don't carry that RAM any more. They could've refunded, but they didn't do that either.
They wouldn't refund anything on the shipping either; $13.95 for one pound is definitely overpriced, but they told me to go to UPS directly. Which I can't do. Only the shipper can do that.
Don't waste your time and money on Hardcore Cooling. Everything they sell is available elsewhere."
"Placed an On-line order on March 11. Being one state away, got suspicious when a week went by and did not recieve my order. Sent an E-mail with my inquiry. The next day, after not receiving a response, sent a second inquiry. Then telephoned the company direct. (their website lists number as 1-866-FAN GUYZ, there is no Z on most telephones) When I reached them on the phone, they looked up the order and said it was on backorder. Ironically their website does not indicate this or any other items on backorder or out of stock - pretty lame. In addition, this item was a little pricier then most sites, but I ordered it anyway under the impression it was in stock. Cancel order. Will not use again unless they start updating the supply status of their merchandise on their website, and start returning customer E-mails."
"WOW Case screws that arent a dollar a piece I just had to buy 3 packs of 6 in there HOT DEALS section. I orderd the screws and 2 days later they where in I cant believe the fast shipment. I will be buying from this company again. Dont go anywhere else do it here!
