"Nice guys lousy speed. I ordered a radeon 9700 from these guys back on the 27th. The price was full retail, not exactly a deal. I really wanted this product soon so i decided to order it for 400.00. I used their +2.99 express option and their free shipping option. Sounds great so far....After getting my bill (via email) i tracked my order to find it was destined for delivery on sept 10th!?!? So i tried to contact them about this as it seemed an awefully long time. Their phone was constantly busy signal, so i tried emailing them every day for the last 10 days and all i get is this automated reply that their email is down. What kind of company has email down for 10+ days. If their email was down, how did i get the BILL via email???? Seems they just dont want to answer their customers. So, i decided to CANCEL this order and buy the product locally as its been on the store shelf for the same price at compusa for 3 days now. So i go to the website to cancel the order and saw that ALL RETURNS ARE CHARGED 20% RESTOCKING FEE?!?!?!?!? Thats $80.00 on my purchase just to return the card? I still dont have the card and was just going to refuse delivery when it finally arrives. Never even take it out of the box. But still a 20% restocking fee?????? This is ludicrious. I cannot recommend this company due to extremely LONG shipping times. I would have gladly paid extra to have it here sooner has i even known their "free" shipping was on the back of a pack mule. I hope someone from their company reads this post as i think thats the ONLY way to get into contact with these guys. "

There are people out there that will never be happy and so is their life in general. I had one problem that was quickly solved. Chris does a great job with HCC and should get a raise. :) He spends his personal time to help out the customer and make things right. The new website should take care of all the other comments. They read your comments and take action. Give them a fair shake before you slam them. I like the way they do business."

Situation-I ordered a water cooling water cooling system from hardcorecooling.com, that had a missing part from the manufacturer (not included in the box)-in no way related to hardcorecooling. So I called the manufacturer, and they gave me a complete run-around about getting the missing part. So I called hardcorecooling back, just to see if they had any ideas on how to get the missing part. Next thing I know, is that they called and ordered the missing part themselves from the manufacturer, and had it shipped directly to me, and apologized for the manufacture's error and for them being difficult to deal with. Their service was above and beyond of what can be expected from any business. I would highly recommend this company to any "hardcore modders or gamers". Hardcorecooling has the best service by far, taking great care with customer satisfaction."

I had ordered the Athlon XP Overclocking kit, and when it arrived a few days later from UPS, the Cleaning Fluid bottle had been broken in shipment and the fluid was dried onto the magnifying glass and tape tabs. I emailed them to make them aware of this, and within a few days, they not only shipped out just another bottle of cleaning fluid, magnifying glass, and tape tabs, but they sent me everything again. To say the least, I was very pleased and will most definately be doing more business wtih Hardcore Cooling!!

"My son's 1.4g Athalon was running very hot and spontaneously rebooting. We decided to move up to an Alpha 8045 with an 80mm fan and began our search on pricewatch.com to see who had the best prices. Right at the top of the list was Hardcore Cooling. Surprisingly, the address on their web page indicated that they were only a 15 minute drive away! So, we called them up and the friendly voice on the other end gave us detailed directions. When we arrived we were astonished by the stacks of good stuff on the shelves! These guys have the goods in quantity! They filled our order in less than a minute. They also made sure we knew how to mount everything and suggested several good techniques for cleaning up our installation and applying the arctic silver. It was obvious these guys are tweakers who work and play with what they sell. They aren't just salesmen trying to sell you a product, they know their stuff. Our installation was a great success with a drop of 15c in our idling temperature and 100% system stability. The Alpha is a great cooler! I did email a question regarding installation of the wiring harness for the thermostatic fan, and it was responded to promptly with the information I needed. I couldn't be happier, and would not hesitate to use these guys again, or to highly recommend them to anyone."

"I called the day after I placed the order to make sure everything had gone ok through my new credit card...Instead of the Iwill XP333, they sent me the Iwill XP333-R (raid) for the "delay in order processing". "In October, 2001, I ordered a 300 watt ATX supply which, according to the Hardcore Cooling (HCC) web site, was supposed to be manufactured by Deer. (While I realized that Deer was not exactly Antec, it was a brand that I had used before.) The power supply that I received was not made by Deer, it was made by Wintop . . . Whatever that is. I was disappointed and, in hindsight, I should have returned it since it was not what I ordered. But, the computer was down and I needed it running ASAP. I really didn't want to wait another 2 weeks for the supply to be exchanged. I installed and used the Wintop power supply without any problems until May 24, 2002 when the fan speed dropped significantly causing the case and processor temperatures to rise by some 10 degrees. Since the supply that I ordered was supposed to have a 12 month warranty, I sent an email to HCC and I also left a voice mail message for them. When I did not receive a reply, or a return call, on May 28, 2002, I called to explain the situation. Not only did they refuse to exchange it, they couldn't even tell me how to contact the manufacturer. They suggested I do a web search! They have never responded to my email or to my complaint about their lack of support and their failure to deliver what I ordered. That is not my idea of supporting your customer!
Today, I gave up on HCC and the manufacturer. I opened the supply - voiding my "warranty" (yeah, right!) I traced the fan speed problem to a defective thermistor that was mounted on one of the heatsinks. Once the thermistor was bypassed, the fan ran at full speed once again.
Based on my experience with Hardcore Cooling, I will not do business with them again. Perhaps you would be wise to do the same."
"Ordered memory with copper heatsinks, was shipped cheaper memory with aluminum heatsink. They didn't even box the memory separately from the other items I ordered. It was just in bubble rap! Returned memory but still have not been contacted about when they will ship correct part. Prices were good. Service/support is/was horrible. Will not order from them again!!"

Products were packaged very nicely and everything came better then expected. As for customer support, my experience was very good. "BEST IN THE BUSINESS! One of the few companies that understands customer service. I've ordered several parts from them and don't want to hover around any one particular case really, but they were all good experiences.
I've ordered Cases ==> fan grills, all of them arrive on time or earlier and they are all quality products. Some people will sell you anything now-a-days but it seems HCC takes the time to check out the product they resell.
None of these online retailers are "easy" to get ahold of. Most are working out of their homes and small offices under the guise of a large corporate-style website. So in my opinion customer service is important when you do talk to them via email or phone.
These guys know the product, endorse the product, and are very reasonable w/ their pricing.

"My experience with hardcorecooling.com has been a horrible one. After a week I called to ask why I hadn't recieved my shipment. They said one of my items in my order was on backorder, and they had just recieved it. They didn't send me an email or have any notification on their website that they had inventory problems. They said they would ship out my order later that day. I called back the next day because I had not receieved a ups tracking number, and low and behold, they shipped it tuesday rather than the quoated monday. So they didn't let me know of a backorded item, didn't give me the opportunity to choose a different product, and shipped my order extremely late. I will never do business with them agian. From other comments it seems as if they are plagued with this problem."
