"AWSOME customer service!! Laptop cooler died after 10 months (not the store's fault but the manufacturer)... Tom promptly replaced the cooling pad with priority shipping!! Phone calls were answered promptly, emails were returned, couldn't ask for more!!!! New cooling pad arrived SWIFTLY in TIP TOP condition!!!! Thanks Hardware Cooling!!!!!"

"This was my 2nd order with them. The 1st order they forgot to pack 1 of my 2 cables that i ordered. I sent them a email and they sent it to me asap.

On my 2nd order they sent me the wrong firewire cable.

Everything is ok with them, but they definitely need to check their orders before they actually ship them out. Common sense people

Absolutely horrible experience – STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. I placed an order two weeks ago and I have no clue about what is going on with it. Their website is showing “pending” status for two weeks, they didn’t answer several requests submitted through the “contact us” form and there is no way to get a live person on the phone (I called many times during normal business hours). Apparently, there is also no way to cancel a “pending” order either, so I’m pretty much stuck.

"EDIT (2/1/06)
Hardwarecooling.com contacted me and asked me what was wrong with my order. I explained, and was reimbursed and they let me keep the alumina thermal adhesive. This was more than I expected them to do. They are not as horrible as I originally thought. However they still need to work on their email communication, other than that I am satisfied. I would recommend doing business with them, as they are willing to work with you if a problem does arise.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This store is horrible. I ordered Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive, and they sent me Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound, which is completely different. I tried emailing them first, I must have sent at least 7 emails, NOT EVEN ONE got answered. So, I decided to call them and this guy picked up, and I explained my problem and gave him my order number and he said hold on and then hung up on me right away. So I called him back not even 10 seconds later and got his voice machine, so I hung up and called back because I knew he was there, so then he picked up and says that he accidentally lost me, yeah sure buddy...anyway I complained that he sent me the wrong item and he said that he would ship the right item out, and he did, but this time he shipped me Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive which is completely different from Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive. To add insult to injury, I called them back to make sure that he got the Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound that I sent back, and he said yes and said that he sent out the Arctic Alumina Thermal Adhesive, so I told him how I didn't order that, so I asked him to make sure if he sent out the Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive or the Arctic Alumina, and he said Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive, I guess they lie on top of screwing orders up. I checked their website on 1/26/2006 and notice that he took the Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive off of the website altogether. So, not only did I pay more for the Arctic Alumina, but I am stuck with something that I didn't want. How you can call yourself Hardware COOLING and not even know the difference between something as simple as thermal compounds and adhesives is beyond me. I am out 9.00 dollars, plus the stamp that I paid to send back the Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound that he sent me incorrectly in the first place and hardwarecooling.com is out a customer. I had to order the Arctic Silver Thermal Adhesive from a different store, which got me the correct product. This is the first time that a store has sent me the wrong product, not once but TWICE, and I shop online A LOT. They handled my last order fine, but this order they completely screwed up and I ended up losing time and money. This is NOT acceptable.

"Will never buy from this business again. I've been waiting nearly a week for a 3.5 gram tube of thermal paste to ship that was ordered on the 16th. Next day air and the order is still pending. They keep sending emails asking me to verify my shipping address, and I keep replying that its correct. I've also been trying to call for days and never can recieve an answer, just keep getting an answering machine that they apparently don't check. Unexcuseable handling of my order and non-existant customer service.

Update:
Finally recieved my product on the 29th after more calls. Stated I didn't qualify for next day shipping because I used their free shipping promotion, which would be fine if their website and invoice hadn't said next day air.

To their credit they did finally contacted me back, but it was to complain about the bad rating I gave them. They also offered to refund me if I shipped the product back.
