"When my order was placed on January 19, 2023. It clearly stated in the order that delivery would be no later than January 30, 2023. This was a time sensitive gift. Received no updates from them. Did not arrive until February 3, 2023. Lots of good gift basket options online. Don’t waste your time with these guys "
"I work for a real estate investment firm that deals with a lot of lending. We spent $3,500 on gift baskets for our lenders for Christmas. One of our most active lenders JUST SO HAPPEN to come into the office & once we started talking about Christmas & we asked her about her basket, she told us she was never sent the basket we had ordered her ($120 basket with meats, cheese, crackers & two bottles of wine) she received a box of bagels. THIS IS RIDICULOUS & UNACCEPTABLE. WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHERPEOPLE RECEIVED GARBAGE. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM TO OBTAIN MONEY WHILE HARRY & DAVID THINK ITS OKAY TO SEND A BOX OF BREAD FOR $120. NEVER AGAIN. I will now take my business to wine & country. I also noticed when I came to write this review in order to warn others, Harry & David has a 1.3 star rating on google. Probably should have looked at those before being scammed out of my order.
I reached out to support via chat and spoke to someone Nerissa who was NO HELP. She kept being very unresponsive and would disappear. I will be reporting these people to anyone who will listen."

"We received a box of pears yesterday that were sent to us as a gift from our neighbors. After opening the box it was obvious these were NOT quality fruit.
Harry and David describe their pears as fresh....jucy ....delicious....but these looked like they had been picked up off the ground. They are bruised...scraped up skin... tough texture and NOT juicy or sweet.
Truely...you could go for a walk in a pear orchard.....pick up fruit off the ground and would probably have a better quality pear than these.
I hope by the end of this review I can attach a picture so you can appreciate what we got in our box.
I will be trying to contact the company when they open on Monday but meanwhile I need to contact my neighbor to thank them for these but not let on how disappointed we are with their gift.
I would break their heart if they knew what we received from them"
"My son typically sends me a fruit (pears) box for my birthday and Christmas. I've told him to skip the nuts and cheese. The cheese is inedible and the nuts are usually stale and overly salted. But the pears are usually quite nice even if they are extraordinarily overpriced. However what I received this Christmas was a box (The Merry Mix-up Gift Box at $45) of shrunken, beaten up and scarred very small pears. They'll probably be OK to eat, we'll see? However to charge $45 for this plus a small piece of overly processed cheese and some stale nuts is outright robbery.

I wanted to share this to prevent them from wasting your time.
I placed an order on Jan 8, 2022, for a Valentine's Day wreath and received an email confirming I would receive my order by Jan 20, 2022.
On Jan 18, 2022, I received an email stating the wreath was no longer available and that I needed to call in order to choose a different item.
Note: on Jan 18, I checked their website and the wreath was still available for sale
Once they figured it out (10days later) why didn't they simply refund my money?
instead of wasting my time and forcing me to call in order to "choose a different item"?
Since they left me no choice but to call, I called them on Jan 18th and was told that the email I received was incorrect and that the item was not sold out and would arrive by Feb 2nd.
I was confused by this and explained the email I had received, but the representative confirmed again that there were NO issues with inventory and that my order would arrive by Feb 2, 2022
On Jan 26, I received an email stating that they are "unable to process my order because they needed additional information" and that I needed to call or they would cancel my order.
I called and was told my order was sold out and I needed to choose a different item
Why waste my time like this?
BTW, this item still shows that it is available on their website as of today Jan 26
The item is the Elegant Heart Wreath.
I am sorry to say, but this company is incompetent and I will not be doing business with them again.

The problem was the 2nd box had even more rotten fruit.
Too bad so sad. what was once a great gift idea should never be used again. There other gifts your friends should be sent.

"Looks like my experience is about the same as others. Ordered 2 boxes of Cinnabons on 12/6 and website stated "items are available to ship now". Paid $23 for overnight shipping. Order status stated delivery would be 12/8. Items never arrived on 12/8 and Fedex tracking stated only that the label had been created. Never received any update on order status or communication that delivery would be late. Contacted support on 12/9 and spoke to rep, only was told that items were "in transit". On 12/10 contacted support again since items still had not arrived and Fedex status had not changed. After being on hold for an hour was told again by rep that items were "in transit". Asked to speak to a supervisor, on hold again for 15 minutes. Supervisor finally joined call and could only apologize for the delay. Could not give me any status on the order or expected delivery date, only stated that order was missing the internal tracking number and that it was "probably" in transit and "should" arrive in a couple of days. This was an outright lie. Supervisor would not enter a new order at no charge to replace the existing order to ensure that I would receive the items the next day. Terrible way to address a customer issue. Demanded refund and was told it would be processed. Still not processed. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with."
"Last Wednesday, 12/1/21, early evening, I called Harry & David customer service - order department. Earlier in the day I had tried to place an order on line using a promotion code they had sent me. The order software would not accept the promotion code. I was connected with a very nice young lady from their Jamaica based call center. I could tell she was very new and was being monitored and assisted by a trainer. Very frustrating hour and fifteen minutes - she had to correct every entry (name, address, phone, email, etc) she made, sometimes multiple times. She put me on hold after every entry and correction. I told her after 30 minutes that I had a dinner across town to get to - she assured me we would have the order finished before that. As I pulled up to the restaurant at the hour and fifteen minute mark the order was still not complete - I told her, and her trainer, that I was cancelling the order as they had wasted all of our time. The next day I ordered a better gift basket from Costco - it was less expensive and there was no shipping charge - and it has already been delivered. My family has been ordering Harry & David holiday gifts for multiple friends and family for over twenty years - not any more."

"November 10 , ordered sympathy basket and wanted it delivered on the 12th of November paid extra for that privilege to the amount of 39.98 for the shipping alone. I receive email stating being shipped by fedex and a tracking number which was not a correct tracking number for a fedex delivery (according to fedex). At this time I become concerned and call harry and David after I spoke with fedex. they informed that it would be delivered on the 13th instead of 12th. I complained that I paid extra to have that date and they credited my account the amount of shipping and said I would get another email with new tracing number. No email, no new tracking and when I called today I was informed that delivery was expected on the 17th of November. This was a sympathy basket and I was livid. HARRY & DAVID LOST MY. BUSINESS . AND I HOPE WHOEVER IS INTERESTED IN ORDERING FROMTHEM TO READ REIVEWS FIRST. Had I read reviews I would have NEVER ORDERED from them. "
