"They can do far more customization in the store than is available online. Only the showcase people seem to know anything about product options, the sales people (even managers) don't have the product knowledge. Salespeople were impatient when we were looking for our engagement ring, so I thought I'd look online for what I want. Unfortunately, not even 1/10th of the customizable options are available. Have to deal with ignorant salespeople if I want to be engaged before the next showcase. Extremely disappointed in the lack of options posted."

"Ordering from the website was easy. There was a glitch in notifying me that the order was in at the retail store. I had to call them to find out if the order had come in. The order was in and was able to pick it up before my deadline. Subsequently the ring was returned and my fiancee picked another ring at the delivery store. She liked the replacement ring that she picked out at a higher price, but was disappointed that she was given a drawstring bag for her ring instad of the box she expected. Since we live some distance from the delivery store, we have not yet returned to discuss the box with the store. Not a deal breaker for either of us, but she still wants the box for her ring."

"Amazon’s mission statement is “to make the act of buying a product as simple as possible” - my experience with Helzberg was the antithesis to that mission. If you were hoping to rival Amazon at any level you have the wrong idea about which parts you should be competing against. The sheer lack of communication from the sales site and willful negligence of sales/customer service staff made the experience both painful and traumatizing. I strongly recommend a re-evaluation of the the methods by which you communicate shipping policies, a complete reorganization of the shipping and distribution of your products both online and in store, followed by a swift and harsh ****-slapping of your current return and refund policies and procedures. In short: Be Better."
