"DO NOT ORDER FROM HER ROOM. THEY ARE A SCAM. I WOULD PUT NEGATIVE 5 STARS IF I COULD.

On 05/05/15, I ordered 4 bras from them through Amazon. On 05/11/15, Amazon sent me a courtesy email to let me know that Her Room had not confirmed shipment of the order. On 05/12/15, I received an email from Her Room saying that my order was on "backorder" and could not be shipped and that my card would not be charged until it had shipped. On 05/13/15, Amazon cancelled the order (I should have taken the cue from Amazon) because the items could not be shipped within 30 days of placing the order.

On 05/27/15, against my better judgment, I called Her Room and ordered 4 bras directly through them. I received an email confirmation that same day. The email from Her Room stated that 3 of my bras were in stock and would be shipped immediately and the other 4th bra was on back order.

On 05/27/15, I received a UPS Shipment notification with a tracking number for the 3 bras. On 06/02/15, I received a UPS Exception Notification that "AS REQUESTED BY THE SENDER, THE PACKAGE IS BEING RETURNED. CONTACT THE SENDER FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION."

On 06/08/15, I received another email from UPS stating: "AT THE REQUEST OF HIS/HER ROOMS, THIS NOTICE IS TO CONFIRM THAT THE FOLLOWING SHIPMENT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO THE SHIPPER." I called Her Room to ask why my order was being returned to them AT THEIR REQUEST. The customer service rep said that the address that THEY entered was too long and that some of the shipping address had been cut off of the mailing label which is why they asked for the order to be returned to them. I instructed them to re-ship it and that I have never had a problem with shipments being delivered here. They said that someone would call me back and figure out what happened. I NEVER received a phone call back. On or about 06/17/15, I called again and was told the same story. I told them I wanted a call back and an email with a shipping tracking number. I RECEIVED NEITHER.

I went out of town on 06/19/15 (a Friday) so I did not know if I received a shipment while I was gone. On the morning of 06/23/15, after I dropped my daughter off at school and sat in the parking lot, I texted my assistant to see if I received any UPS packages since UPS was the previous delivery service they had attempted to use before. She said I had no packages from UPS. I called Her Room immediately afterwards and I asked to cancel my order since I did not receive any items and this delay was inexcusable. I was told the order would be cancelled and I demanded an email confirming the same.

I then received a call from Her Room within 10 minutes of calling Her Room to cancel my order, saying that they records showed that my order had been delivered and that they had a tracking number. I asked them to email me the tracking information. I then received a basic email from Her Room with a tracking number but with NO INFORMATION ON WHICH DELIVERY COMPANY (UPS or FedEx or USPS). I assumed it was FedEx or UPS and went to both websites, entered the tracking numbers and did not receive any hits.

I called Her Room back and told them the same. They said it was the USPS who delivered it on 06/19/15. I then texted my assistant and asked her if I received a package from USPS. She said that I had but it arrived OPEN and EMPTY. How convenient. If USPS delivers it, it is left in the mailbox and no postman/postwoman will admit that it arrived full and risk being accused of theft. However, if Her Room had used UPS or FedEx, then the item would have been delivered in person to my office where someone could actually sign for it.

I then called Her Room back and told them the same. I pointed out it was THEIR decision to ask for UPS to return the item and it was THEIR customer service rep who entered my shipping address into their system. They refused to give me a refund since their records showed the order had been fulfilled and a "seasoned" rep took my order. So now I am without 3 bras, out $319 and wasted at least 1.5 hours on the phone trying to get my order delivered on time and in my hands while Her Room had been unjustly enriched. Instead of prioritizing customer service, I received the runaround from Her Room, insufficient if not incompetent communication and delays because their "seasoned" customer service representative entered a shipping address that was too long to be printed on a label. Her Room has allegedly been in business for 19 years and this is the customer service I received. I am not a returning customer who continues to create false issues in order to scam them. I am a first-time customer who never received her order in a timely fashion, called repeatedly to get updates and ended up with an empty package. Should have read the YELP reviews first before ordering. My experience just confirms that THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!

"Well, it seems that all these persons had problems returning an item. I am not in that situation. I live in the EU and ordered from this American site 3 pairs of stockings. They are impeccable, delivery was perfect, I am extremely satisfied. I don't have to return them, therefore I have no idea about their post-sales services, but right now I would gladly order from them again!"

"Never order from them. Their staff, especially Debi, are rude and determined to make you miserable. They ship wrong items and sizes and then argue with you to tell you that you ordered them.
They will do Anything not to refund your money. They will claim you wore items that you send back still sealed In their plastic bags.
They will also tell you if you insist on a refund they won't seel to you again.

"My advice is DO NOT order from this company. I found the customer service at HerRoom to be unfriendly, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I called with a question about an exchange and was basically told, sorry I can't help you.

When I ordered online the website promised "easy returns". My 4 items arrived; I tried on 1 item over my own clothing, then returned all 4 to exchange for a smaller size. I had to pay for return postage. I received an exchange shipment containing only 3 items, with no explanation. I called customer service to inquire about the 4th item and was told it was not accepted for return due to "a brown stain on the back" of the returned item. This item was NOT worn and was in new condition when I shipped it back. Furthermore I was supposed to figure out that item was not accepted for return from an email that stated 3 items were being shipped to me. When I read the email I just assumed the other item was being shipped separately.

Other online ordering companies assume the customer to be honest and will go out of their way to make returns and exchanges easy. HerRoom assumes the customer is dishonest and makes returns difficult.

"My experience with HerRoom has been great each time I have ordered. In fairness, I have not had to contact customer service so I can't comment on that aspect of the site.

I like the selection, the shipping, the range of sizes, and the prices. I was not asked to write this review. I signed up for another company and noticed I could leave reviews for different stores I had ordered from.

"I made the mistake of ordering $200 worth of products from HerRoom. A couple of items were backordered so I received a partial shipment. The backorder persisted for over a month and I reviewed their web page and saw that the one item left on backorder was available but in a larger size. On top of that THE ITEM PRICE WAS REDUCED $4.05 (MARKED AS A SALE ITEM). I offered this up as a solution to the never-ending back order and they shipped my item AT FULL PRICE!!! I made NUMEROUS attempts to shame them into refunding the $4.05 (it was a matter of principle)and each time they refused. The LAST response was:
"...The reason why the regular price was charged is because the sale item was not purchased. This Felina 694P is no longer on our website..."
Um... BECAUSE I BOUGHT THE LAST ONE - THAT IS WHY IT WAS ON SALE - TO MOVE THE PRODUCT - DUHHHHHHHH!!!

All this over a mere $4.05.... God help you girls if you are due a larger amount!

With all the competitors, why take a chance and shop here?

"AWFUL!!!! Stay Away... I purchased 2 corset bras from this site for my wedding dress. I ordered 2 different sizes because I wanted to make sure I got the correct fit. When they arrived I opened the bag For the biggest one and it was to small. The fit was way off. I used the sizing chart provided when I ordered but it was incorrect. Which is frustrating because I needed it for a dress fitting that week, which is why I ordered 2 sizes and paid 20.00 for overnight which by the way took 3 days. I put the bras back in the box, one unopened, one tried on but unworn. I paid 15.00 to return them and waited for a response. When they did responded, 2 weeks later, the email stated that there was a "make up like stain" on the bras so a refund would not be made, instead they would send the ill fitting bra back, or donate it. I called and spoke with a representative who said the same thing. No exchanges offered because I "damaged them". I was not even wearing make up. One was not even opened. So I paid 130.00 for the bras , 20.00 for overnight shipping which took 3 days and 15.00 to return them. Total, 165.00 loss. I willl NEVER do business with them again."

"I ordered one bra and panty on 5/24. Then I ordered the same bra and panty on 6/3 in a different size, same style, same price. I then returned with all labels and panty liner to HerRoom. I received a refund for the panty but not the bra. I had an on-line chat. It was hard to understand what they would do except contact the warehouse to locate the bra. I then called and spoke to Karen. She said she would contact the warehouse and get back to me. Never heart a word. Called again. Vanessa told me it takes 3 dyas for feedback from warehouse. I waited and called 3 days later. The woman I got on the phone was completely unaware of my previous calls. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager. I asked to speak to the warehouse manager. He was unavailable. I asked to speak to the owner. "She doesn't speak to people." Again, they said they would check with the warehouse and weigh the package to see if I was telling the truth. That's when I wrote a letter to ****@**** at: Tomima. Haven't heard a word. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED."

"They offered a free shipping / free returns on a certain brand, for a limited time. I ordered well within that time, yet they denied me the free returns until I went up their corporate ladder.

Then they told me that my refund would take at least a week, maybe more, after they received my return. I tracked the return, so I knew how long they held my money for. They never responded to a single email, and the hold time on the phone was long.

They have a great selection, but deal with them at your peril, since they play fast and loose with commercial standards and customer service. They give me the strong impression that they don't care about having repeat customers.

"This is a truly horrible company. I purchased a bra that was not delivered by USPS. Our post office had documentation that it was delivered, however the item was NOT delivered and the delivery time was at a time when there was someone to receive the package. My neighbors did not take the package and who else wants my bra size?? HerRoom has refused to refund my money or send me the bra and I have no recourse as I have no way to prove our USPS lied. Essentially HerRoom accuses their customers of lying. "

"DO NOT SHOP AT THIS SITE!
I purchased 2 bras from this vendor, and when I attempted to return the items, one was "rejected" for "a stain on the right cup which does not pass our quality control organic light testing." No such stain was present on the item when I returned it. The entire amount is not being refunded. When I phoned them to dispute, they said they would return the item to me or donate it, but would not refund my purchase price. I am disputing it with the credit card company instead. VERY POOR customer treatment.

"Her Room has a broad selection of products at reasonable prices. But after reading the reviews here and on Epinions, it was with some trepidation that I ordered from Her Room. But I went ahead and tried them. My nicely-packaged order arrived in a week. It contained all 8 items I ordered. As a precaution, I checked each with black light when I first opened it. One item showed some innocuous spots.

As It happens, I returned 4 girdles, including the one with the innocuous spots. I checked each again with black light prior to shipping. In about a week I received e-mail confirmation they had received my returns. A few days later I received confirmation by e-mail that I would be receiving a full refund for all 4 items.

So far, I have found the Her Room staff to be friendly and helpful, and returns to be reasonable. This could change, of course, but right now I am completely satisfied and plan to order again from Her Room.

"First order with Her Room...$390 for two pairs of panties, one bathing suit, one pair of pajamas. The pajamas were backordered, but the panties and suit arrived in good time. Prior to ordering, I had read their return policy and understood the requirement to return items with tags intact and in hygenic, "like new" condition. Upon delivery, I opened the box, tried on the panties and immediately put the suit on over the brand new, fresh-out-of-the-plastic panties from Her Room. The suit was too large for me and I promptly returned it, expecting a full refund per their policy. Instead, I received an email that the item "did not pass a blacklight test" and no refund would be given. In fact, I needed to pay return shipping if I wanted to take possession of a bathing suit I didn't even want- or it would be destroyed.

I called and asked for them to examine the item again as 1) I would never be so tacky as to try on a swimsut without panties and 2) I had followed all of their policies precisely with the keen knowledge that failure to do so could negate a refund. After they reviewed the garment again, a staff member called and left a voicemail saying I would not be receiving a refund. I called back and spoke with a customer service representative who told me there were no managers on duty (really???) and that the decision was final. Again with the "if you want it back you'll have to pay for shipping" line. She was incredibly disinterested in helping me and offered no explanation and no resolution. I reminded her that my $165 pair of pajamas was on backorder and that they could cancel my backorder if they refused to support their customers and stand by their merchandise. She graciously offered to cancel it. So they're willing to lose a $165 order over a $140 suit, while also losing a consistent customer who obviously enjoys luxury items? Makes absolutely no sense to me.

Now, they have the suit and my money. That garment never touched bare flesh, the hygenic panty liner was intact and the tags were as well. It was returned within a few days of delivery in the original box. When I left a professional, articulate comment of concern on their Facebook, it was promptly deleted and I was banned from their page. All in all, I paid $140+ to try on a suit and beg for decent customer service, to no avail. There are too many other lingerie retailers on the internet to accept this kind of service. Seek out some information about their reputation and you'll likely be as stunned as I was. Buyer beware!
