A rep from HiFi Sound Connection, hifisound, has responded:

“Hello Bucks,

Looking at your order here I do not see that a return label was created here for you. On any shipping error we are more than happy to pay for the shipping back to us with a pre-paid shipping label emailed to you, but I do not see this was requested. When the item was returned back to our warehouse the SKU on the product was SL1642-2XCOVER the exact same one that was ordered. This may have been mis-labeled by the manufacture directly if it was the wrong item.

If contacted we would have been more than happy to replace the item with the item wanted, but I see a refund was requested immediately with no chance to redeem this here for you. Generally a restocking fee is charged for any refund, (If a replacement is available, as we are more than happy to fix the problem) but we have waived this for you.

If you would like to give us a call up M-F 8:30-5:30 at 1-877-275-4434 we are always more than happy to help you out. We will be emailing you directly here to see what we can do to help you out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we strive to make sure everyone of our customers are happy. "Go alot of respect for this place there one company that stands behind the word and products I ordered a loaded sub enclosure and FedEx lost it I emailed Hifi sounds and let them know what happen they seemed happy to help me there response to my email was so fast it was crazy they took care of me and sent out another sub that same "day" they have earned my respect and now have a customer for life I highly recommend this company to all!....real customer service!!!!!!!!!!"

"The website will allow you to ship to an address other than the billing address on the credit card but when the order is processed it will reject. Orders must be shipped to the billing address of the credit card. Also if you pay for expedited shipping if like i did Over Night items will not ship the same day if the order is received after 11:00 am eastern. There is also a major disconnect with Customer service and shipping done even try to cal for a status update

"Great custer service, had an isue with the unit they had shipped out to me and as you can read for your self they were all over the isue and i had a replacement ship out to me in a few days with no problem. As a business onwer i was very pleased with the outcome of their service and will use this company any time i can.

"Absolutely the greatest experience I've had with an online retailer to date. I ordered the wrong size speaker for my car, so i called customer service and told them the situation. The individual I spoke with paged the shipping department but could not get hold of any one so he personal walked to the shipping department and corrected my order. Two days later the correct item was delivered. "
