"my complaint is small but its a lesson learned for me and anyone i know that wants to order from Hifi. i ordered six packs of 0 gauge ring terminals and only received 5. again its only cost 3 bucks a pack but its a lesson learned. i called and got nothing, left a few emails and still nothing. i paid for six and i expect six. its not that hard to count up to six. anyways, yes the prices are good but i will not order any type of subs (as i PLANNED ((past tense)) to) from this company. its not worth the risk to me. good prices not the greatest service. FINALLY they sent me my sixth package but it did arrive in three days but their service still suckx they never answer thier phone so dont call and it takes a good while for them to respond to a email"

"I Have not or will NOT recommend HiFIsound Connection to any of my friends or family. This was the worst customer service company I have ever dealt with. They just want your money then give you the run around in getting a problem fixed. The original radio they sent me was broke. The cover that goes over the battery would not stay closed. I contacted them and they told me to contact Pioneer, who made the radio. Pioneer told me that they do not recongnize HiFiSound Connection. I had to threaten HiFISound Connection with going to the Attorney Generals office of Missouri before they agreed to send me a different radio. No way will I let someone I know possibly going through the same thing I had to go through to get a problem fixed."

"WARNING!! Do not order from this company. We ordered a Clarion video monitor to for our vehicle that had to match the other existing one. We specifically and clearly identified that the monitor could NOT BE SUBSTITUTED in the customer notes section, in fact our online account clearly shows this. Someone wrote “Substitute” ¾ of an inch above the “Do not Substitute” note, unbelievable. We received the wrong component, surprise – surprise that would not mount correctly and the wiring connectors were completely different. Seems like a simple mistake that any reputable company should be able to correct. That is where things go sideways. We have sent over 10 different e-mails and have left a phone message, provided them with each and everything they requested and now can’t even get them to contact us. We have had to pay freight 2 ways and a 60.00 duty and they have the monitor. They initially indicated that they did not receive the item. Amazingly when we provided a shipping document for which they signed for, it suddenly appeared. They then said that this order was too old to provide a refund. This whole thing had become old because of their incompetence and their never intending to send a refund. Their last communication was an offer to provide a store credit, we don’t want a store credit, we just want back the money we spent for an item we did not order. We are appalled that a company that provides this service can even be allowed to be in business. Any of the reviews that indicate a satisfied customer are ones who happened to receive the correct item in the first place. If you receive the wrong item or it is damaged, you are screwed!!!!!!! They have no intention of correcting the mistake. The biggest joke is that the monitor that we wanted and they do not have is still shown on their website. You have to know that someone else will make the same request and be shipped a substitute that will not work and have to go through the same crap. Once again……DO NOT DEAL WITH HIFI SOUNDCONNECTION, they are online crooks. We will be looking at other ways of getting this story out to the public.

Update:
Well, it has been almost 3 weeks since Darren indicated that we would receive a credit and nothing has happened. What is most upsetting is that a customer rep by the name of "Robin" sent us an e-mail asking us to contact them to sort this out and that we were gong to have to adjust our complaint on this web-site. We have sent two e-mails with all required information and have yet to have anyone contact us, this is customer service?
On Darren,s comment regarding an upgrade, imagine you order a fuel pump for a 1995 chevrolet and they substitute one for a 2009 model, where I come from that is not an upgrade, we call it a wrong part. Oh and by the way, the model that is no longer available is still shown today on their website......can you see this happening all over again to someone else, don't let it be you. They were told not to substitute back on January 27th, this is June 2nd....what a total waste of our time.

We still have not even had so much as an e-mail regarding our refund, no surprise. I even e-mailed the CEO, Chris Rush....no reply. Some good news, we purchased our product using a credit card and once we contacted them regarding this situation and provided them with all the documentation, they have provided a credit to us and will go after HiFi Sound Connection for the money.
Glad this is behind us, 7 months and a lot of time for something that should have been straight forward.
I will not ever purchase an item over the internet with out visiting ResellerRatings.com as this whole thing would not have taken place, this is a very informative site....thanks.
