"I would strongly suggest not shopping at HiFi Sound Connections. I made a purchase in September, 2008. It is now February, 2009 (5 months later!) and I have yet to receive a portion of my order. Their customer service is very lacking.
My first issue is when they quoted the S&H charge it was not the same as when they billed me. They billed me for almost $50 more then the quote.
They did split the order and ship what was in stock (which I appreciate) however, one item ($86.95) was on backorder. After six weeks I contacted them and was told it was still on backorder and it should ship within two weeks.
A Month later I called and left a message... No response! I sent them an e-mail asking about the order and was told…yep, still on backorder. They then offered a store credit if I did not want to wait.
Six weeks later I sent an e-mail addressing the concerns with the delay as well as the S&H issue. I received I one sentence response saying it was still on backorder.
Another Six weeks later I sent a strongly worded e-mail that I would appreciate an immediate refund... No response!
I called today to voice my concerns. I was told the item was coincidentally shipped today. As I was explaining my concerns, the operator covered the phone and was talking to someone in the background!
This company’s appreciation for their customers is ridiculous! I will never spend another penny on this company!

"Not very satisfied. I Ordered the item @12:38pm on 1/20/09 and received a purchase confirmation 20 mins later. I paid to have this item shipped 2 day air. I was hoping that they would send it out same day since they say orders sent in before 4pm would have a good possibility to be sent out unless they have unforeseen issues. The item wasnt shipped out until next day. Minor disapointment here but at least I would get the part by weekend so my installer could finish the install of my system. The package was not received, according to UPS, it was missorted. So I called UPS to find out what happened. Well, it turns out that the wrong zip code was on the ship to address. So I was not happy about that, but I asked them if I could pick it up from the hub. They said I could not unless either the shipper corrected the mistake or the UPS delivery agent made at least one attempt so I said ok, I will call the shipper. I called HIFI and I got sent to VM to leave a call back, I left my info (invoice, name, call back number, everything but blood type) and I got nothing. I called the next day and same thing, so I leave my info again and I also sent an email as well. I checked the site several times to try and get a "Live Support" and nothing doing there. I called UPS back and asked if they could change the ship to zipcode and I got the same thing from them. I told them, its not going to go anywhere because that address/zip combo does not exist..ever. She said try back Monday. I called Monday and they tried the samething and I explained to them that it will never get delived and that the package now had a shipping zipcode incorrect and it had now 2 sorting errors posted on the package. They finally gave way and sent out the info to the site and to have it corrected..I asked her if I would get the same day since it was about 10am in the morning, she replied "no". I then finally received my package around 1:30 on Tuesday a week and 4 headaches later. Today is 1/28/09 and I still have not received a call or email back. Oh I have to mention this, when I received the package, I took it to my boss and showed him. His response was.."Did you get that off the set of Cast Away?" I laughed and then opened it up and there it rattled around in it plastic original wrapping ...and for packing, a small piece of paper at the end. I had to double check it to make sure it wasn't cracked in some sort of way and miraculously, it wasn't and as far as I know, it works(my installer hasn't called me back saying its broke...but I'm not sure he installed it yet either). I think I'll vote no for shopping here again. I would have liked at least some kind of shipping reimbersement, but this doesn't seem like its going to happen."

"I would not recommend this company to anyone of my friends or family as they have horrible customer service.
Delivery was sub-par, a tad slow but not too long.
Product was in good condition, went defective after 2 weeks. I sent it in for warranty, and waited, and waited, and waited. NO EMAILS, NO PHONE CALLS, NO NOTIFICATIONS WHATSOEVER.
It took 1 DAY SHY OF A MONTH to receive my new product. I contacted them telling them it was bogus how I had to wait that long and they blamed it on the MFG instead of them, that may be, but you should keep an eye on your transactions and let them know if its going to take a freaking month to get a new one.
They did NOTHING to resolve this issue but tell me I am complaining and then ignored the rest of my emails. I warned them to resolve the issue or I'm leaving a bad review. They failed to comply. Sorry, but this company sucks."

I am very sorry you had a problem with your amplifier. While we do everything possible to ensure the brands we sell are reliable we of course do not produce them and sometimes products are defective. Once we received the amplifier from you (1 week) we then checked in and send a replacement back to you within 48 hours. It took another week to get back to you. We did not make you wait for us to send the amp off to the factory get it repaired and sent back to us and then send you another one as most stores and retailers do. We did everything possible to make this situation correct for you. In the future I would advise you to go to local stores pay full retail and then if you have a problem you will not have the delay of shipping time. That is the only way to avoid the small delay you had in this case.

"I ordered I actually received my product had it installed amps went dead one on Nov.25 and the other the next day after about 3 hours of use emailed hifi got my ra# sent my amps to them on Dec.1 using UPS received on Dec.3 their website says processing takes 2 weeks I email on Dec.15 asking for an update Dec.22 they email telling me they're shipping a replacement package within a day or two. Jan. 5 I email again asking what's going on my "customer service representative Ben" says they're checking their returns this week when I thought and I'm sure I read right, "We will be sending out a replacement package within a day or two." They prices are decent their customer service is bar none the worse I've ever dealt with. Buyer BEWARE I should of stuck to the other places I've ordered equipment from.

This warranty happened over the holidays and all packages were delayed due to UPS being closed several days and with the holiday crunch. We did everything possible to get it replaced for you right away and we just sent you another amplifier from our stock and did not make you wait for your amplifier to get repaired as many other stores do.
