"Poor excuse for a company, at least 10% chance of getting completely screwed over (just read through the dissatisfied reviews (or their BBB review for that matter, plus any of their posted responses are simply public fronts!). Poor and rude customer service, call them with a problem, and they will likely hang up and block your number. Save your money and youreself a headache, take your business elsewhere, plenty of other real on-line merchants out there (e.g. onlinecarstereo.com).

"After purchasing 6 speakers and an amplifier, all seperately. I came across a forum where some people had some serious issues with hifisoundconnection.com. The problems occured about three years ago. I also noticed the company owner was on the forum responding to these peoples problems. I have little doubt that the problems these individuals were real. But what stood out for me was that the owner of the company took the time to respond to these people on an outside website, and take their abuse!
What ever problems hifisoundconnection had in the past they have all been worked out! My experiance with the company has yeilded only positive results. I have recomended them to several friends, all with positive outcomes!"
"I ordered 2 subwoofers and 1 capacitor (for car audio use) from HiFiSoundConnection. I received only the capacitor from my order. I tried to call customer service (I called on 8/26/08) to inquire about my order. The Service Rep was rude and hung up on me. I tried to call back and found that my number had been blocked. I repeated this with my cell phone - same result. I later called from my office phone and got the same result again. Now I have 3 phone numbers that are blocked from calling HiFiSound.
I had to file a complaint with the BBB, which HiFiSound completely ignored, as well as disputing the charge with my credit card company to get this issue resolved.
This company has the absolute worst customer service record of any company I have ever worked with in my entire life. I would not recommend this company to even my worst enemy.

We have resolved all our your outstanding issues and I am sorry we have to block your 100s of calls but when you make death threats to employees and curse at them we have no choice. I would advise you to shop at your local retail stores or anywhere but with us. I would not advise my worst competitor to take your business. We have done everything possible to make you happy and it is still not enough so there is nothing more I can do for you. As far as the BBB goes we have 200 complaints out of 400,000+ sales. I think that is an outstanding record. I would advise you to check any other high volume retailer and you will see a similar or much worse ratio.

"Much to my surprise I get an opportunity to post my comments regarding this company. I originally ordered about $350 worth of electronic items, mostly just miscellaneous terminals but one big-ticket item was a 30 farad capacitor. I received the items in a fairly timely manner after good initial communication. However, once I opened the package, I found that the dual 1/0 terminals had been swapped for a 4 gauge coupler (they aren’t even close). The capacitor’s faux-chrome finish was rubbed all the way through to the plastic underneath the finish.
So, starting on August 26th, I contacted their customer service to see what I had to do to exchange these items. After 2 unsuccessful email contact attempts I finally found a way to submit a RMA request from within their website. I eventually got the RMA form emailed to me with instructions on sending it in (I don’t have the exact date in front of me but it was around September 5th).
I waited until the 1st of October without hearing any updates so once again contacted them via email and the reply just said “Hello, We are currently still processing your return.
Your Customer Service Rep, Tony” Realizing the 60 days my credit card company allows for disputing charges was getting near, I emailed their customer service with the following email:
“According to your site "All returned packages will be inspected, processing can take up to 2 weeks for warranty, exchanges and returns."
This has now taken 6 weeks since the RMA and nearly 2 months since the original purchase. The only communication I've received has been instigated by me. I think I have been more than patient.
If I don't have a refund or the correct replacements by October 20th, (or at the very least, a shipping tracking number showing the delivery date) I will be forced to dispute charges with my credit card company.”
Not surprisingly, I never received any response to this email so I filed a “dispute charge” regarding HiFi. I gave them absolutely every opportunity, and more than enough time for them to make this right. I guess they didn’t care to…

"The 1.2fd cap looks great.came with charging lamp and was very easy to install.on a 480watt amp I diden't notive much in sound improvement but did notice more stable voltage to amp.blue LED blinks when working.
I also have a 1800 watt 12 to 120VAC inverter in the system and the cap really makes a difference on heavy loads.better surge watts .inverter sometimes shut down on me.not anymore.
I really like this cap.I can see someone with a big AMP 1KW or so would really like this one.
