"I like Hives selection but their post order management is weak. My saucer and cup set arrived in two separate shipments which isn’t the greatest thing for the environment. On top of that I never received a notice for either shipment. The boxes just arrived without warning. Luckily I just happened to check the name on the packages in the hallway because I was expecting a shipment from another company. Another item in the order was back ordered but the inventory on the site did not indicate that it was. I had to e-mail Hive to get updates and all of the answers regarding shipping came after delivery and that’s also when I learned the third saucer/cup was back ordered. I understand that Hive doesn’t carry inventory directly and that orders are drop shipped from their vendors. Having said that, the shipping notifications should be automatic and they need better stock integration with their partners. I should know upfront if something is back ordered. Since this is the second time I’ve had issues with shipping notifications, I now assume this is their standard and not an aberration. "
