"Before Christmas I ordered two items and after a week checked on them. No one could find where the order was even though it was supposedly shipped. Short story I reordered then received first order. During all this time I called and send emails but received no reply or could not speak to customer service. I ended up having to pay $41 to return first order. Customer service is a joke. You can't talk to a real person. Never again!!!!!!!"

Horrible experience! My son saved up his money for months to buys an airsoft gun. He finally found "the one" st Hobby Tron. 5 attempts at their "online chat with a rep" to resolve an issue (ordered 3 items, received only 2. Air soft gun was not included in the package we received!!!), got "disconnected" by every rep. No confirmatory email with tracking number ever sent, even upon payment. No emails received with a resolution or confirmation of receipt of a complaint until they sent me a survey link.
Customer service # is an 818 exchange and they don't answer the phone anyhow. Finally, after about 11 tries, they answered up the phone. I was told to fill out a form to be able to return the gun... HOW do I return an item I NEVER received???
But boy did they charge my credit card in a speedy manner!! C'mon, Hobbytron, do the right thing!! There's s kid who is anxiously awaiting an item he saved up for 6 months to buy!!! "
"I bought my son a flying helicopter and he got it out to play with it one time and it wouldn't work anymore. I figured i couldn't get it replaced , so I threw it away. I have bought several items from hobby tron and this is the most dissatisfied I have been with hobby tron. More than likely I won't be buying nothing else. The toys are too expensive to buy for my child to just play with it one time and have to throw it away."

"The order process was simple but I can't tell you how the product is because I still haven't received it! When I ordered I asked for standard shipping which should have been 3-5 bus. days. Two weeks later I still haven't received it. I got follow up emails from the shipping company that told me my order would come in on Feb 15th. "I ordered an airsoft rifle from Hobbytron.com, and they sent me the wrong item! Ok, so I know mistakes happen...I received an RMA number for the exchange, and I sent the product back via UPS Next Day Air Early AM, so my exchange would be prompt. Now they are telling me exchanges take 3-4 weeks to process, maybe longer. I called into customer care and the lady I spoke with was rude. I explained my situation and she said my order was "subbed out"...like I know what that means? When I asked what that was, she just repeated herself, "It's subbed-out" in a condescending tone. She also stated that they get A LOT of returns, that's why it takes over a month to get the items exchanged. I asked about just returning it for a refund and she said there would be a 20% restocking...even though they are the ones that sent me the wrong item!!! I'm almost ready to eat the 20% restocking fee and just get a refund since they already have it, but she said it would still take the same amount of time for that to happen, at this point I don't even know if I'm going to get my money back. I looked back on the website and their listings are incorrect. Search "echo 1 sob" and when it pulls up, the items are mislabeled. They have the Echo 1 SOB 1 and SOB 2 reversed. However when you click on each item it states the correct name for each item. But I was afraid that they may end up sending me the wrong item again so I emailed them to let them know and they responded "So what's your question? Please contact our customer care". So far I am very disatisfied with my experience with Hobbytron.com, especially with their customer service. Wish I had paid the $40-$50 diffence and gotten it from another company.

"I made a mistake and ordered the wrong product. Hobbytron does not allow orders to be cancelled. I had to wait to refuse the UPS delivery. Not convenient or helpful. The website order tracking does not work. The email contact page was not working and the live chat online support was always busy. Very frustrating. Overall not a good experience."
"As of right now, I am dissatisfied with my purchase. While I received both items in a timely manner, I had trouble with the Nano Roadster working right out of the box. Batteries were already installed correctly but I was unable to get it to respond at all. After playing around with awhile, I did get it to work, but only for a few seconds at a time and then not at all. I don't know if it is the car or poor batteries. I am undecided what I will do with the roadster as of now. I don't have batteries for the Jeep and once I do get some, I hope I am not disappointed with that vehicle. Until I get the roadster issue taken care of, I will not buy from HobbyTron again. I also thought shipping charges were to high, costing almost as much as a single item."
