"Holabird Sports proves that Trustpilot is Fake News, as Holabird has one of the worst and dishonest customer service my wife and I have ever experienced.
We sent an item that did not fit comfortably and requested a refund. After more than three weeks, we still did not receive a refund. So we reached out to the company. Gina said that we are not receiving a refund because we were accused of sending the shirt without original tags and deodorant stains on the armpits.
We would never return an item without the original tags and would have never sent it back with deodorant stains — or any other stains for that matter. The shirt we returned was in pristine condition. We are beyond dissatisfied that Holabird lied about the reasons that we have not received the full refund. Not only we were charged additional $6 return fee and we had to pay additional shipping to return it, but the company lied about the reasons to not offer their customers a refund. Again, we returned the shirt with the original tag and without stains. There would have never been deodorant stains. My wife and I never use deodorant or antiperspirant. They are harmful to people and to the environment.
Holabird demonstrated that they do not value relationships with potential customers. In contrast to Holabird, many businesses do not take our money to return items that we may not be satisfied nor are we charged additional fees to return them. Unlike Holabird, many businesses offer free return shipping without any cost because they want us to be completely satisfied with their products and more importantly, they value their relationship with potential customers.
As I have expressed to Gina this morning, we will never work with Holabird again due to their dishonest business practice. Saying Holabird's dishonest practice is "water under the bridge" (Gina), is not sound or honest business policy."
