"I ordered the Pena Rustic 5 light Chandelier. It’s absolutely beautiful! Most lights that were this style were extremely high in price. I feel like the chandelier was great quality for the value. My husband and I installed it in a little under an hour. Shipping and Customer service were all excellent. I’m very happy with this light fixture!"
"I purchased a chandelier from these people. It resembles their picture but is clearly a knockoff. A part was missing. I didn't unpack the product until a year after receiving it as it was part of a renovation. They insisted that it wasn't missing and that neither I nor the two electricians who were installing that day had looked inside the box properly! Then they wanted me to send photos! The installers went out and got the missing wire, but BE WARNED. This company uses images taken from other websites and sends an inferior product. Then they try to blame the customer."
"Don't waste your time or money and skip this company. I thought I was paying a lot for a shower setup and it was not worth any of the money spent. Even qualified plumbers couldn't figure out the instructions and they supply you all 1/2" parts and then tell yo that you need 3/4" to make it all work."
"I purchased a chandelier from their site. First of all, it took two months to arrive (the original shipment apparently sat in Chinese customs, got returned to the warehouse, and only after prompting a response from them did they realise it was back with them). I literally had moved homes by the time it got shipped again and they wouldn't change the shipping address. Regardless, fixture arrived and it is NOT the item pictured. It is a cheap, knock off version of the chandelier they have pictured (which looks more like Restoration Hardware images). Finish is cheap, wires are exposed, and nothing is flush. Will NOT purchase from them again due to flippant service and cheap product. "
"I bought an item for $42. When it was being shipped, DHL (the courier they hired) said that I have to pay $21 for "customs". I decided that I want to return and get a refund. But their return policy is that I have to pay to ship the item back to China. And that they won't refund the money that their courier charged me. So basically, I have to spend a considerable amount of money to get a refund of $42. All this after I already spent $62. Not worth dealing with this shady company in China. Their website looks legit but there are a lot of fine print you have to carefully read."
"On the website the product looked fine (wall light) and the cost was okay ($100). We received it in okay time, but it's made of super thin aluminum and has poor quality finish. It's also not well designed for a wall light, which you couldn't tell from the pictures - when you stand under it, you can see some of the wires. So, it's not totally terrible and we'll install it anyway, but it would have been better to just buy something from a local shop, even if we did have to pay a little bit more. It just feels super cheap and flimsy, and probably cost them about $5 to make, so the idea of cutting out the middleman and selling direct to the public seems to mean that they just make a large cut themselves."
"I wish I had read the reviews on this company before buying. I read their return policy prior to purchasing and it does not provide any information that returns will need to be shipped to China when you receive the items from California. If they were so concerned with your satisfaction as indicated on their return policy, they would allow returns to the same US location from which they ship items. They indicate you cannot use express couriers without the potential of customs charges and according to the post office the only way to track the item, which they indicate you should do, is to use an express courier. My email also mentions to sell on ebay. I think they make this intentionally difficult so you end up not returning. So buyers be warned. If you order something, you should plan to keep it. The item I order was not great quality and now I am stuck with it. "
"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! They are from China which makes if almost impossible to return your items and get your refund! When I requested for a refund they said you ONLY HAVE 15 DAYS TO RETURN! They told me that I should try to sell the items on Ebay instead. WOW....really?? I will NEVER do business with them again!"
"The tap arrived by international express post - which is very good. However the LED makes a terrible noise and some lights stopped working straight away.
They did offer to resend a LED for it, but
the bigger problem is the flow of water - 40 mins to fill a bath! This tap is for basin or bath.
I had a registered plumber fit it and he said tap is definitely at fault. I had to buy another similar tap locally and guess what - works perfectly!
I wrote homary several emails, stating plumbers diagnosis of the tap definitely being faulty. Homary - although responded to emails, doesn't want to know a word about refund. Even when I told them about consumer law!
I was offered $15 refund for led if I didn't want the new part - and basically told I should feel fortunate to get that!.
I won't drop this, the tap cost $275 aud and is useless, and they are trying to sidestep their legal responsibility: which is more infuriating.
They also told me I was unfair leaving feedback about this on their fb page ( which of course they removed). They can't remove from other sites tho, and consumers need to be aware of this side to their 'service'. "
"Bought what looked like a quality piece of tapware only to have it leak all over my new vanity in a slow and undetected way...meaning that the leak wasn't spotted below it could do serious damage. We immediately uninstalled the mixer and replaced it. I let Homary know of the situation...they wanted us to provide a video of the leak and a detailed description by the plumber. I explained that getting our plumber to do this would incur yet another hefty call out fee and reinstalling the mixer just to provide a video is ridiculous. They completely sidestepped my refund. I don't recommend buying anything serious from Homary....theres a good chance it'll be faulty and just lead to more costs from your own pocket."
"Look inexpensive, but beware improt taxes that you will be asked to pay for when the items are delivered (and they don't tell youa bout online). And almost impossible to return items to China."
"Fitted a tap from Homary, after two weeks it snapped in half. Such low quality - totally useless.
It sat in a box waiting to be installed for 2 months so doubtful that I can receive compensation for this junk.
DO NOT BUY from them. My plumber couldn't believe this thing was being sold as a tap."
"I recommend you dont buy from homary it is very low quality for its price, i bought a shower kit and the tub faucet broke in my hands it seems like was just glued on. After working on my kit for two days i realized i couldnt make it work because we needed special pieces from britain and are not sold in canada I wasted two days on this cheap product. They wont refund me i lost all my money...had to buy brand new kit somewhere else. Very dissapointed. They dont care about theyre clients only the money"
"I purchased bath and basin faucets and a shower set. The photo is deceiving and the whole thing is of poor quality. I sent it back for a refund and ended up paying £168.90 in postage which I will not be able to claim back. What's more I got this from them when I asked for a refund…… "By the way, if it is because they are not suitable for current condition or there is no chance to utilize currently, you may consider keeping them for another project or reselling them to someone who likes it on eBay or at your local. Several of our customers did in this way and some even made a small profit, you may also have a try. These plumbing products are of high quality and with attractive design, you could set your mind at rest either to keep them for use or resell." SERIOUSLY?
I will never again trust products from Homary
"
"My freestanding tub faucet leaked from the very beginning, and they wouldn't let me return it. Instead they offered me $10 and sent a replacement part for the handle. They don't have any US customer service, so you have to call them in the middle of the night to talk to someone. (They're in China.) I spent $150 having the plumber install it then $150 more to try to fix it, but it was defective and couldn't be fixed. I finally bought one through Home Depot where I knew they would stand by their product. I should have known better."
