"A+ Concrete and remodeling did flagstone overly last week on my concrete slab patio. I'm very happy with results the way it looks. Three man crew did complete in 3 days 60x14 ft size area. I like to mention that crew left area clean and explained of how to protect area while is curing next days. Again very beautiful design and colors, many complements from neighbors. Will hire A+ Concrete for sure on my next project. Thanks Christian and A+ Concrete crew.

"If I could give them zero stars I would. They charge you for leads that you don't even work. They don't tell you that you have to go in and request credits when you don't get a job or take a job. and when you sign up they misrepresent themselves by not telling you all of this"
"Thay sold me leads when I was sick in the hospital "

"I joined home advisor and quickly realized that while home advisor charges you immediately they send you a lead whether you respond to the lead or not, they do not inform the people seeking the services of pros that they charge the pros once they make inquiries about services, so within two days I had over 5 leads, I didn’t even talk to some of them and I went to meet some of them who said they were not ready for the job and some just said they wanted to find out how much it would cost to do the job and that they weren’t ready. These clients had no idea I had been charged already. This continued without stop. You might get a job or two from but then you will lose all the money you make again from them through all the bs leads they will send you.
Then their customer services is horrible. Over a week after I had requested for my account to be cancelled which they didn’t, eventually I got them to cancel the account and surprisingly they took out 61 dollars from my account again that it was for a lead they sent to me that I didn’t even know of.
This company is the worse kind of scam existing, I really wonder how they can be allowed to scam innocent hard working people like this. Please make no mistake, you will regret ever engaging with this company. "

"El 99% del de los supuestos clientes que envían son FALSOS! Está compañía está llena de Ladrones aprovechándose de las empresas!"
"The job that I prepaid for never showed up. I have been trying for 5 straight hours trying to get a response. The numbers they keep transfering me to does not pick up. The site they send you to does not work. The stole our money. I have to file a lawsuit. now along with the many others.
"
"I have used Home Advisor in the past but never again. I asked for a pro to re-grout my shower. The person they sent was a handyman and left a few areas untouched. We tried recourse but only spoke to a bunch of foreigners. Never again will I use them as they have had 3 days to respond although we provided them with all the pertinent information. Furthermore pre billing leaves the homeowner no recourse if the job is not done correctly.

"The app was very convenient to use. I was clear that all I needed was to replace my lock mechanism on my front door. They charged me $219 for 3 hour work, I assumed this was standard and that I would get a refund if it did not take 3 hours. Well it took only 20 minutes...and the professional who came out charged us $20. Then I look and see the full $219 charged to my account. I tried calling, placed on hold for 20 min, then it says to email due to high call volume, which I did. Took a full 24 hours to get return email just to be told that using app automatically gets you charged for 2 hours. So only getting $72 back, which I have yet to receive in my account. The app is not very clear about this and never did I see a notice warning me that two hour charge is the minimum. Basically its a scam. Warning everyone I know to deal with the professionals directly and not use this service. Just a big scam to get money, advertising itself as convenient, which it is, but hides the fine print. Very dishonest practices. Very disappointed. Will be reviewing same on line and reporting to state consumer agencies. "

"As a home owner, I used their service to find an electrical contractor and a pest control. I can no longer find them on the site and now I know why. As a contractor, you can prepare for the bend over and take it of your life. They make it sound really good for you to sign up. IT'S ALL LIES! I was told my fees would be 11-19 dollars per lead. WRONG! Try doubling that and you'll be closer. You call to find out why it's so much, and you get a run around of scripted answers. Ask them to send you specifics on the charges to try to make sense of being charged way more than you were told. NO WAY WILL THEY SEND IT. Their charges are a range between x and **** and they don't have to tell you why apparently, or they can't because they charge whatever they feel like and don't have a set price. Have a customer that is just fishing and wasn't ready to have the job done? You're paying for it anyway in spite of them having a link to request a refund for being unable to contact the customer. Have a customer that has a rental house and calls it a commercial property instead of a residence? You'll pay for a commercial rate too. As you're talking to a rep trying to figure this out, they will tell you the original price quote. When you say well why is this one higher than you just finished saying it should be, suddenly they start treating you like a deaf moron and claim they didn't just say the fee shouldn't be that high. I wish I had read the horror stories on other sites before I signed up but my good experience as a homeowner led me astray with this company. I'm about to go read their terms of service and see if I really am locked in for a year. I hope not. And now they want to respond to the review? I tried reaching out and your customer service rep treated me like I was a stupid woman and unable to listen. Nice try, HomeAdvisor, but no dice. You treated me like crap and said no to fixing a problem your website says should be an automatic refund."

"We used a recommended person to build an addition. Bottom line is the person wasn't qualified and he subcontracted out the jon to an ex con. Needless to say I got rid of these folks. I would seriously question Home Advisor's claim that they screen contractors. I would never use them again."

"I scheduled an appointment to have my squeaking stairs repaired. I even supplied the material to repair. Waited for 5 hours and the guy was a no show. His number was also disconnected. How unprofessional do you get? Wish I’d read the reviews. Awaiting my refund. Stay away from this group. They’re nothing but a scam!"
“Hi BobRichardson, We're sorry to hear you had this experience with a pro, we encourage our pros to honor their appointment times. "Ugly and dirty people who make your life a hell everyday.. Negative and complete horror. They prey on hard working contractors..just a bunch of parasites and leeches. The contractors are treated like garbage because home advisor can get away with it...because the business are desperate for work...Just starting out or don't have enough customers. A few pros are already established and can get by but even those question Home Advisors practices. Stay clear of this scam outfit. They drain your bank account and try to **** you dry of your hard earned money and break your back till you give up...
They will make hate your self for signing up..don't be fooled by these scammers"
"As a contractor, I can tell you that I was cold called over 100 times several times a week by aggressive homeadvisor salespeople trying to get me to sign up for thier paid-search service. Paid-search means that I pay them for every lead they provide, whether the lead ends up as a job or not. The more I pay, the more often my company shows up at the top of the list for specific regions. Now, I can also tell you that I have used Homeadvisor in a pinch for concrete work and roof repair. Both of the contractors came highly rated by HA and BOTH WERE TERRIBLE! The concrete contractor was argumentative, made all kinds of excuses, told me the steps he was pouring were bot aligned with the front door because the stoop was not plumb (not true as I measured...and a dumb reason), etc. He was just lazy. The roofing guy was just as bad and would have skipped steps had I not been there to ensure he did the job as bid. Now, let's talk about the deceptive process that Home Advisor uses to get YOUR information. Google "top 10 window installers in (your city). The FIRST ENTRY is Home Advisor. They pay Google a lot of money for that slot. When you click on it, you are asked a bunch of questions about the job, your name and contact information, etc. YOU NEVER SEE THE LIST YOU WERE PROMISED! Instead, you get 10 vendors cold-calling you for your business. Vendors that paid Homne Advisor for your contact information. That is how they make their money. So, that top ten link is essentially a phishing scam to get your information. Do you really want to do business with a company that operates that way? I know I don't. Ask your friends on Facebook or Nextdoor for recommendations instead. I absolutely do not ecommend Home Advisor. "
"I wrote a less than shining review on one landscape company paying HomeAdvisor to be on their web page and it was never posted. Since HomeAdvisor makes money from businesses they support, they will not post low star reviews or vet any companies they advertise. Beware of any business advertised in HomeAdvisor as reviews are not complete and honest. "
"I was scammed by Homeadvisor roughly 4 years ago. The reason I am writing this review now is the many small business owners I see getting sucked into HA's conn causing a financial strain on there businesses.
My story started with a call from HA and after hearing what they had to offer I was interested. I told them I was not interested in any leads but, I was interested in getting a bit of advertising out there. I was told they could accommodate my request for $300 for 1 year. I was told if I wanted leads I could turn them on later. Great! I was sold. I gave them my CC# (big mistake)
The next day I received a lead. I call HA and told them I didn't want any leads. I was refunded for the lead. Little mishap no big deal. Three days later get 2 more leads. Call HA, now Im told they can only turn leads off for three days at a time and I would not be refunded. I tell them to cancel my service. I was told I have a 1 year contract and they will not cancel. Annoyed I figured I would call HA every 3 days and put the leads on hold until my year was up then cancel HA. Worked for while but I missed a few times. The times I didn't get the leads held on time HA would send anywhere from 5 to 10 leads in a short time, most of them not relating to my business. Very shady! At this point I had enough and cancelled my credit card. They were quick to get in touch with me after that and told me I owed them $200. I told them I would pay them once I had proof my HA account was cancelled. They cancelled my account then asked for a credit card to make the final payment to them... I don't think so... Send me an address I can send a check. I was told they do not accept checks and would send me to collections if I did not provided a credit card. I bluffed them and said I am recording the conversation and them refusing to accept my payment will be taken up with the courts if sent to collections. Immediately the lady gave me an address in Golden CO.
HA can not be trusted. Take some time and scroll past the first page on Google and look up reviews on https://www-resellerratings.com. Youtube.com. HA spends allot of money to burry negative comments."
