Then I contacted Home Advisor & heard from Mounaim Taifi. Mounaim is decent smart & very kind. He shopped for new faucet came back in record time with no huge charge for this. He installed faucet under sink & above in tough physical position on his back. He cost half of what other plumbers charge. Taifi is a total pro with great skills and style extrenely honest. He is so polite tears came to my eyes after dealing with crooked overcharging plumbers with nasty attitudes. He does the job in record time and is an angel. Everybody that’s giving it a bad name does not know how to work it properly it is OK there is a lot of people in this world that doesn’t know how to ride a bike But are people given bad reviews to the bike manufacturer NO

It’s very easy to use in the beginning like myself it was a little tough but within a couple weeks it worked itself out you got to get the hang of it you got a run your leads down if you get leads and you do not get a hold of the customers home advisor will give you back the money for those leads if you don’t call the customers of course you’re going to be charged the fee and there’s one yearly fee and they charge per lead if you don’t want leads continue to pause your leads it’s OK though you’ll get through it

"If you want perfection at a reasonable price, Joe is THE ONE! We did get 4 estimates and they ranged from outrageously to Joe’s fair and reasonable estimate. AND the job he did tiling our bathroom floor couldn’t be done better! We can’t recommend him highly enough. "So at first it was good, but charged for the leads even though we didn't contact them. Then home advisor calls the leads I marked as called and send me an email with negative things customers say which aren't even true. For example a customer ssid I told her I would send her an email and never sent anything so I screenshot the emails I DID send and sent them to the customer . Makes me seem like the bad person"

"I have never had to speak with a company like I have this one. We have been using 5 other lead generation companies and never experience anything like this with them. They charged us $800+ In leads we never accepted or contacted. After we already spent $400 in leads that had no success. When signing up for home advisor the customer representative that I talked to for two hours before joining homeadvisor didn’t mention we would be billed for any leads sent regardless if we accept or contact the lead. She in fact, made it sound like I would only be charged for the ones I contacted. And when contacting customer service I was told that there was nothing they could do, and that I agreed to those stipulation through voice recording which I have no recollection of doing. Long story short, do not spend your hard earned money on this scam of a company that charges your card on file without authorization for leads you never used."

"We signed up in January as a business with home advisor and I have to say it was a HUGE MISTAKE on our part and cost us an enormous amount of money for "leads" that brought us virtually zero work or income. We were told us they had so much work for us!! They started throwing "leads" at us, all of which you'll be charged for if you get the job or not, and because we couldn't get the "customers" to even answer our calls to set up a time to look at the job... It cost us the fee.... We turned the leads off for 30days and some how they were turned back on again we were peppered with "the leads" when we called they told us the fees would be reversed and refunded back to us... They were, but only in a credit for that had to be used for future leads! One way or the other they keep your money! Please small business owners, don't be romanced by pretty words there are horrible companies that are eager to take the small amount your making in starting up your business and they can be ruthless... There are other great companies the like HOMEE PRO, they get the lead, it's guaranteed work which equals guaranteed pay they still get a fee but you're getting paid and the fee is much lower and you getting the very same exposure that you would be getting compared to some companies. So beware of who your choosing and make sure to check the BBB, you'll find the MANY complaints there are and why.

"Never, never, never use this company. They say their leads only go out to 3 people but after talking to several leads I estimate it is more like 10 to 12 people and you get charged whether you get the job or not. It would take 8 to 10 leads to land one job. I cancelled with them 2 years ago and I still get 2 to 3 calls a day with bogus leads. They have even tried to take money from my accounts for these bogus leads after cancelling. They are a nightmare company and should be run out of business. "

"Ill keep this short. They sound great on the phone but there is a few things they don't tell you if your a contractor looking for extra work or to get your name out there. But let me tell you a few things on there "leads". If a lead doesn't call you back too bad you still get charged, if you speak with a lead through text or your in any way not through the mobile app.. they charge you "even if it is wrong task", they charge you for leads that are people just thinking about something and wondering what it would cost to do a task they are not going to do any time soon "aka wife wants a bathroom remodel i wonder what that would cost", and when you call them to speak to them about these things they don't really care because they already got their money from you and they come up with BS to not refund you the money. there is more but it will only sound like a rant. If you want to contract with them as a contractor go for it but be warned it is unpleasant to say the least. "

"they lied to me from day one. they charge 24$ lead fee to multi contractors for same job and only one may get the job . from total 10 leads they send me never got one turned into a service call and most of the time the job is gone is 10 seconds .you have to pay even the costumer do not answer the phone or the job never gets booked . i used them only got a week payed 290 $ membership fee and i after i cancelled they refused to refund me so i wasted 290$
