"Only 1 of the provider Home Advisor recommended for the job was not a good. All American S.G. Inc. came by the house to look at the job, but would not provide an estimate. I followed up with them and no response. Not a good candidate for Home Advisor."
"i was recently approached by home advisor as a hvac contractor, paid my yearly fee of and told that i would pay a small fee for the leads they would give me. The leads started on sunday and i cancelled by friday. everyone of the leads were wrong #'s, they had not contacted home advisor , or someone else had already been there to fix the problem and they expected me to pay for those leads????? I called on wednesday to cancel and they finally returned my call on friday so that i could cancel. I was not with them even a week and ROCKY , tells me that they wont refund my money. This company is a joke. My advise, if your a contractor, BEWARE!!!!!"
"I signed up with Home Advisors...the salesman took my money after a very swift talk. I need a special license with them for my business bUT not required or need it in my state. I did not get one single lead regarding my business. I got 3 total leads for handyman bs. I called up they added handyman leads to cash in on each so more extra. Theese guys are swift and crooks. After 10 calls finally salesperson decided to try to get my money back... yeah right, 3 more months past me wanting my $300 back. They finally after numerous threats and calls to my credit card issuer they returned partially my money...but now they sent me to collections to recoup their money, I never opened a single lead they sent me. The type of Leads where not what my business is about. Will be taking a website out vs. Them and reporting them to the state on NC as well as BBB. Not stopping there either, they have messed with the wrong guy. Start reporting them, it's all a rip off. Do not trust them!!! Bad news. "

Probably my fault, but I didn't get it. Otherwise, I was delighted to discover 6 possibilities in my general area. Just have to be patient for return calls from busy people."
