Was referred to another number of a contractor whose mailbox was full. Called H.A. back, told agent it was an emergency. Connected to another contractor who was nice, but had no appointment for 10 days.Quite obviously, H.A. was no help at all in providing for my needs."

"There is no way on you site to inform the pro of your preference of how to be contacted. I am hearing impaired and to talk on the phone I need on special equipment so I prefer e-mail contact until after deciding if I want the 'pro'. Home advisor gave my information to a 'pro' and he started started calling and I do not answer unknown numbers. He left a message after his 3rd call so I returned his call, no answer and voicemail was full! I knew what company due to the voicemail and I contacted them again requesting I be contacted by e-mail, that afternoon 2 more calls from their salesman. This continued for another day and I recontacted the company and again asked to be contacted by e-mail or text. Next day the salesman calls again. I decide I don't want to hire a company who can't follow my instructions. This was the only company that replied via Home Advisor and when I returned to the site for if nothing else a list of painters I was lead to letting a 'pro' contact me."
