"NEVER AGAIN! Similar story. Ordered a stove on 8/12, never received any communication of any kind from the company, but they never met any promised shipping date. Every time a shipping date came and went with no tracking information posted, I contacted them and sat on hold for a representative and got a new excuse of why my stove didn't ship, and a fresh promise that it would ship the following week. Excuses were across the board. Hurricane, problem with the truck, Jewish holidays, you name it. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told that they were in a meeting. Emails went unanswered. I finally cancelled my order. They held my money the entire time instead of charging me when it shipped. The money I though I was saving was more than offset by the higher cost of food for nearly two months without a stove. If the money isn't credited to my account today I will be contacting the DA's office. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY."
"I have a story similar to all the other bad reviews here. They immediately charged my credit card, and then never shipped anything but excuses.
This place is a total scam. If you have been duped into "buying" from them, and then never receiving anything but excuses, then I encourage you to call the district attorney in Brooklyn NY and letting them know that you were the victim of fraud. Phone number ***-***-****. When the DA gets enough complaints, they might investigate.
They list their address as 1269 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn, NY. Look it up on Google maps and look at the street view. It is a boarded up garage door between a Hebrew bookstore and Sunshine Electronics. Sunshine electronics' phone number is no longer in service. (you can read it right off of Google street view ***-***-****) If you Google "Sunshine Electronics Homeeverything.com" together, you will find that Sunshine electronics is doing business as "homeeverything.com". http://donwiss.com/pictures/BrooklynStores/h0170.htm Look up old reviews on Sunshine electronics, and you will find bad reviews that sound just like all of those listed here - just for cameras instead of appliances.
You might also want to look up their warehouse address on Google maps 445 Sills Road, CR 101 Unit 15, Yaphank, NY. That looks like an open field. Their other "legal address" 1202 Lexington Ave Suite 1000 Manhattan, NY is a post office box in a UPS store.
I hope that this information is helpful to all prospective buyers and I also hope that all of you (us) who have been suckered by this scam will do the right thing and report your experience to the DA in Brooklyn. Phone number ***-***-****.
I am suspicious that all the good reviews were written by employees or participants."
"Terrible.
They suck. They tell you anything they want to get the sale. They lie to keep the sale using phoney delivery dates. When they do not deliver they say an accident occurred and you might get your product 7-10 days later. Wait another 7 days and sorry, warehouse made an error."
"Never got our fridge! Had to cancel. Never again!!"
"My story is very much like the other negative reviews of this company, I ordered a fridge/freezer from them and was advised that the item would ship within 7 to 10 days and my card was billed immediately for the item even though both visa and mastercard rules state that it should be billed when it *actually ships*.
I am honestly surprised that this company even has a merchanting account to process credit cards especially considering the sheer weight of negative reviews on this site and 180+ complaints filed with the BBB against them most of which were not resolved satisfactorily.
If you call customer support you get long hold times of 20 to 60 minutes and endless soothing voice messages about how important your call and business is to them, really? If this was the case then they would answer the phone but no doubt they are far too busy leaving 5 star reviews for themselves over here as I really struggle to believe that many of them are genuinely happy customers.
Nearly all the reviews are either 5 stars and follow a similar format like "they are great" I save [insert some amount here], I would not hesitate to use them again, best buying experience ever etc. The negatives also follow a similar pattern as in card charged immediately, no communication, you have to chase them, differing excuses, your unit arrived damaged and was returned for replacement please wait [x] weeks longer, your unit missed the truck, we lost power in our warehouse because of hurricane Irene, they sent the wrong unit, it is on backorder and their latest one is that your fridge freezer has not even been built yet in Asia because of such high demand. OK you can stop laughing now!
The person I spoke to was extremely rude and I told him so and demanded to speak to his supervisor or manager, 45 minutes go by on hold and finally I get a supervisor that listens to what I had to say and claims that I am right and agrees with me and in his words my order has been a disaster from start to finish, I am sure calls from dissatisfied customers are like water off a duck's back to these guys and he did the whole let me check your order with the manufacturer's representative... please hold .... now fast forward to 20 minutes later and I am told that my fridge freezer is still not even manufactured yet in Asia, however I can pass you over to sales who can sell you an even more expensive one that we do actually have in stock.
I cancel my order and am told that the money will be credited back to my card which I paid for 2 statements ago and that does not materialize! Today I initiated a chargeback against these clowns and I would suggest others do likewise rather than endlessly chase refunds. A chargeback will cost them a fee which is typically $35 a pop, if enough people initiate chargebacks against them when they fail to fulfill orders then they might wake up and start paying attention as well as potentially lose their merchanting account and not be able to process anymore credit cards.
I would certainly not recommend HomeEverything to anyone with the exception of my worst enemy and even then I don't think I hate anyone that much to inflict this company on them. My advice is steer well clear of this outfit and to buy from someone more reputable and honest.
I hope this helps anyone considering buying from HomeEverything.Com although I fear if you are reading this you are either another unhappy camper or an employee trying to bury any negative review with some cheerleading posts about how great the company you work for is."
"I appreciate your efficient customer service and quick responses to my inquiries. I have always received a response the same day and that makes all the difference!"
"Do NOT order from this company!!
We ordered 3 appliances on 8/22. Credit card charged immediately. Order not shipped as promised. Repeated delays and no communication from company.
Called them 14 days after order, and told it would be shipping on the following Wednesday due to a delay due to hurricane (ship date 9/7). We wait to following Wednesday (9/7), call back for tracking information- no, not shipped, shipping NEXT Wednesday (9/14). Called 9/16 when no delivery received, now shipping NEXT Wednesday (9/21). Called Tuesday 9/20 to confirm- yes, it's going out tomorrow. Called Wednesday 9/21- yes, it's on the truck, tracking information will be updated tonight. Called Thursday 9/22 to obtain tracking information as not updated on website- oops, sorry, that wasn't your order on the truck, your's will be on the truck (hmm, when do you think that will be?...you got it) NEXT Wednesday (9/28) After 4 weeks in a row of the "next wednesday" song and dance, we cancelled the order today.
Then went to a chain home improvement store the same day to recreate the order with the same exact appliances, and found out that the range that we ordered is no longer being made by manufacturer, and has been out of production for 6 MONTHS! So who knows how long Home Everything would have waited to tell us they couldn't fill the order.
We placed a new order with the chain store, and 2 business days later, the appliances were delivered.
6 days and counting from the cancellation of the order and no refund has been received. A dispute has been filed with the CC company."
"I do not recommend ordering from this webpage, please read my story:
- I ordered a LG Refrigetador and a Washer and Dryer "deal” on August 21st, my credit card was charged the very same day.
- I called customer service on September 7th/2011 to ask for my order after more than 14 business days have passed. They said that the billing address was different from the shipping address and that was causing the delay. I told them the shipping address was correct. They realized I got “curb-delivery” and offered me a “gold delivery” for all the appliances for $75 instead of $50/each. The person I was talking to said he was giving me that special price because I did not know I could get it. After the call, they informed me via email that my items will be shipping during the week of September 19th/2011.
- I contacted customer service on September 12th, very concerned about this transaction, asking for my items. They said my order was schedule for shipping for Wednesday 28th. I said that was unacceptable and asked to cancel the order, they said they would ship it next Wednesday (September 21st) if I did not cancel the order. I agreed to do that and did not cancel the order at the time.
- Today (September 22nd) I sent an email (thru their webpage) asking to cancel this order. They replied saying I will have to do that over the phone. I will be calling later on anyway.
- I will be updating this review after this very bad experience finally ends.

"I recently outfitted a brand new residence with all of my appliances (9) from Homeeverything (HE). I found HomeEverything through a search online. I knew nothing about them. But through my searches, and there were many, they seemed to have the best overall prices on the appliances I wanted. So I gave it a shot.
When it came time to order, I contacted HE because I had found two applainces for less on other sites. Not only were they very helpful in placing the order, they also price matched the two appliances. Moreover, because of the number of apliances I had they gave me a discount.
All of this is well and good, seems like good general practices. But it got better. My residence was not ready for the appliances when the time came for delivery. I contacted HE and they worked with me on a delivery date. The delivery company held my applainces for about two months while we waited for the construction to progress so we could take delivery. I had to call HE 3 different times to change delivery dates, and each time they were very acocoumdating.
Scott and his team were great throughout this process. I now have all of the appliances installed and could not be happier with my choices. This whole expreience has exceeded my expectations. I would, and have, recommended HE to anyone ."
"horrible customer service and super slow shipments. It took me a month to get my vent hood and the webber grill I ordered ended up cancel it and reordering from another site after waiting for a month. Everytime I called had to wait 10 min to talk with someone and they would make and excuse why it wasn't sent and that it should be sent soon. One month later still hadn't received and my outdoor project wasn't finished."
"It's hard believe the incredibly polarized reviews here. I have a poor one, but I'm glad I read the reviews here on how to handle it efficiently.
I ordered an Electrolux washer & dryer set from Steven W on 8/17/11. I clearly asked him if they were both in stock, and he replied yes, although it would take 2-3 weeks of consolidated shipping to NH. He also gave a story about how he takes over a hundred appliance orders daily, blah, blah, blah... I will get a call when it does ship, but not before. They charged my credit card moments after taking my order.
On 9/5/11, I emailed to find out where my order was. I received an email reply 2 days later saying they are "currently on backorder from the manufacturer and will need 7-10 days lead time to ship". That's when I smelled a scam and knew I would never see my order. I called that day, and Tom tells me that they will definitely ship by Friday (2 days), and they will email me the tracking information. I told him I will cancel if they don't ship by Friday.
That Monday 9/12/11, Rich tells me it will ship the following Wednesday. When I asked to cancel my order, he offered to change it to the nearest Wednesday 9/14/11.
I called 9/14/11, and Tom tells me it was supposed to ship the day before, but will offer to ship it the next day. I told him I need it shipped the same day or I will cancel my order. He said he couldn't do that, and sent me a confirmation email for the cancellation (per my request) later that day.
After not seeing a refund on my credit card for 3 days, I initiated a dispute on the original charge. Chase MasterCard credited my original purchase the very next day while they are investigating my claim."
"I purchased a grill on 7/26/2011 and still have not received it. I was initially told it would ship in 2-3 weeks, then after 3 weeks they said 5-7 days. After 7 days, I called and was told that it would be shipped the next week. This happened 3 more times with me calling and being told it will ship the next week. Today, when I called and was told next week, I let them know that it will be well over 2 months since I ordered my grill and I cancelled my order. Besides not getting my grill to use even part of the summer, my biggest issue was that they charged my credit card right away, so I've been funding their operation for almost 2 months.
I will never again purchase anything from them. Don't be enticed by free shipping and no tax."
"I ordered a stove in July that arrived damaged. Took half a day to be able to get through on the phone to let them know. They promised that if I reordered it would arrive in 2 weeks so I did. At 2 weeks I emailed to get the status of my order and never heard back. At 3 weeks I called and learned the replacement stove wasn't scheduled to ship for at least another week - which would have made the actual delivery more like 5-6 weeks. I cancelled the order immediately and will now have to make sure they credit my credit card. My original order was July and it is now September and no stove and now must start over. Overall, they were hard to get a hold of once there was a problem and the promise of a 2 week delivery on the replacement stove was blatantly dishonest. Beware!"
"I wouldn't have the kitchen I wanted if it weren't for Steven W. and the whole team at HE. By far they have the best prices around and the best discounts to go along with them. I spent hours trying to find the best deal, but HE just beat everyone. I don't see how brick and mortar stores will stay open! Customer service was great, as was their support when one of the shelfs arrived broken. Delivery was reasonably fast, considering it took place during one of the biggest snow storms of the decade. A++ Service and Support!
I am so happy with my experience at HE that I am using them again to purchase appliances for the new home I am buying next month!"
"I order a GE counter cook top, it was send on time. The price is reasonable."
