"Don't believe these fake reviews saying they are Great and all that bologna! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. It's basically one guy working out of his basement, "Kelly". I bought a Boden 7-piece recliner set with a supposed 1 year warranty. Within a few months one of the recliners stopped working and can't be closed. I've been hounding them for about almost 2 months and get no real answer. Now "Kelly" decided to take away the "1 year manufacturer warranty" and turn it into a 30 day. This "company" is a joke. That guy Kelly is a hateful little man. Good luck to whoever believes those fake "5 star" reviews. Beware. "

"DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! I was told my bedroom set would be delivered in 4-6 business days. It has been 3 weeks and it is still not here. They never have any idea where your shipment is. It is up to you to call multiple shipping companies to track it down. Now they tell me next week some time. I doubt it since they have already told me this several times. Shipping company told me I would need to have people at the house to unload the semi! I am not unloading a semi. Their site says delivery into garage with free lift gate service. I say again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to save a few dollars."

"Ordered on bunk beds December 7th as was told I would get before Christmas as this was a Santa gift for my 2 and 5 year olds. Was told 3 different times it will ship "tomorrow." After speaking to the same guy today (3 business days before Christmas) he was rude, acted as though he didn't care, could not guarantee delivery and hung up on us! Calls then went into voicemail! Had to file a payment claim with PayPal for a refund. Starting to think this company is bogus!"

"I highly recommend not dealing with this company. I ordered a couch and loveseat combo from them and 2 and a half months later I still have a broken couch sitting in my garage that they have yet to repair/replace/resolve the issue. And forget about them contacting you when there are issues. You have to contact them and be treated poorly to get anything accomplished. When it comes to customer service, these guys just don't care!"

"I purchased a dining set from HCC. I was searching for a particular table, and there were several other retailers offering the same product. However they had the product at the most affordable price. I queried the web for any coupons, and made my purchase online. Within a day, I had notification of the order shipped. The product was shipped and arrived within 5 days.

Overall, I would recommend HCC for such purchases. Online furniture retailers can be quite shady, and many websites out there are scams. HCC is not one of those.

"Sure wish I could do a ZERO star rating, because that's what I feel this company deserves! The head board to my $1200 bed arrived broken. So I called the company. Never have I been treated so RUDELY on the phone! I can't believe what a horrible experience I have had with this company!!! I wish I had bought somewhere else as now I have to pay to get the damaged head board fixed. At least I'm lucky enough that it's repairable. Buy from them at your own risk!"

"My husband is a big/tall man (6' 2" and weighs around 265 lbs), so I was skeptical about ordering these beings no weight capacity limit was shown and the size of the recliners were a bit smaller than the Lazy Boys they would be replacing. After reading many "great" online reviews about them, I decided to take the chance and purchase two of the manual recliners (without the extension seat or wedge). Both my husband and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality (very well made)and comfort of these recliners! He can sit very comfortably in them even when his legs are outstretched. I LOVE them because they really support my lower back and neck (which were injured in a vehicle accident years ago), and the fact that I can sit in them for long periods of time without ever feeling uncomfortable! We were also very satisfied with Home Cinema Centers customer service and the delivery company they use for shipping! "

" My wife and I ordered a chair from Home Cinema Center for our living room. The chair came badly damaged. When Home Cinema was made aware of this they lied and said they would pay for the repair. Chair has been repaired and they are now refusing compensation!Impossible to get a hold of anyone or get a response. Don't let their website fool you into thinking they are a legitimate or even a brick and mortar company. Check them out at the Better Business Bureau, they have over 47 complaints filed against them with serious product/service issues. Do your research and go to a reputable company. My wife and I have been completely, ripped off by this company and had to seek legal action. Don't make the same mistake we did and take your $ somewhere else."

"The folks at HCC went out of their way to help me when I purchased my bedroom set.

Because I was using money from a grant, I had to send a cashier's check which made it hard to use a coupon code since they expire in only a few days. They held my check until a new code was available and then applied that. They saved me nearly $200 by doing this.

They kept me informed every step of the way and gave me a direct phone number to call my rep if I needed anything.
I also really liked the shipping company they used, YRC. The delivery man took the time to put the pallet somewhere safe and out of the weather and was very nice about the extra work.
You can't beat their free shipping either. Saved me lots of money and when you are on a limited income, every dollar counts
.

I had my family come over and move the furniture and put the bed together. All of the other pieces were all in 1 piece. The packaging was amazing which was good to protect, but took some time to get out of the boxes.

Thank you HCC for all your help and your great people and great prices.

"My experience with Home Cinema has been beyond great!! I am in the process of building a larger scale home and to date have spent close to $27,000.00 on furniture through HCC And have also bought all my sofas, bar chairs, electronics, theater chairs, etc thru HCC as well.

So my experience with them has been in a big scaled way!

Everyone whom I have dealt with, either by email or on the phone has been extremely pleasant, professional and prompt in their service!! If there have been any issues with a fixture etc being recieved, they have immediately sent a replacement one. And the issues have been extremely rare, considering the amount of product I have purchased through them.

It has made the process of picking lighting a joy, as there are so many products to choose from. And upon recieving them, they are more lovely in reality then from the on-line photos! The local furniture companies can not even match the prices that HCC offer, so I know that I am also getting great value for the monies I have spent! I really can't express just how amazing it has been to deal with. I have been recommending HCC to all my friends and family.

Way to go HCC It is a relief to know that there is such a company on-line, that you feel extremely safe in dealing with!!!

I will be a continued customer and HCC will be the first place I will check for products and pricing!"

"DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID AND READ:
Ordered a over-sized sofa chair on Jan 23rd.

Received email on Jan 30th stating that the chair had shipped and to expect phone call with in 5 to 7 business days to set up delivery in our area. We were never contacted so called shipping comant for status. After a wild goose chase to track down chair we were informed that the chair was never shipped, was sitting in warehouse entire time. Home Cinema blamed the shipping company, shipping company blamed Home Cinema, nobody wants to take blame for mistake.
After nearly a month from purchase, the chair was delivered. This is what they do not communicate to you and this is how they get you. The Driver will "drop off" the item. The Driver will not come inside home. Driver was 2 hours late from 3 hour wait window. By the time he showed up to house it was 730pm and was dark. You must sign for the furniture but what they fail to tell you is that when you sign the delivery slip you are signing that the item is in "good condition" (in print so small unless you have a microscope you will not see it." You are expected to FULLY INSPECT the item, meaning, completely unwrap it, check every nook and cranny, sit on it, use it, make sure all parts are there BEFORE you sign and BEFORE driver leaves. This is unrealistic for several reasons. A throughout inspection could take hours to see all damage. Drivers are on a schedule and want to "dump and go" second if you are a petite female like me, in this situation the chair was bigger then me, was wrapped like a mummy and was so heavy could not be lifted to inspect underneath. Unlike every other purchase where a delivery slip signature simply states that you received the shipment, this deceptive trade practice indicates that once you sign, you are releasing them from any liability unless you specifically write on the box the item is damaged, broken etc.
After driver left, it took almost an hr our to fully unwrap chair only to find that the chair was broken in 2 pieces. Contacted the driver he stated that he is"just the driver" Contacted Home Cinema within an hour of drop off. Instructed to send and email with pictures. Pictures were taken, emails were sent. No response from company. The person who answers the phone at Home Cinema Center, is also the same person who is the operator, customer service representative, manager and president…it’s a one man show and a joke of a business!
We had to get the credit card company involved to finally get a response. We were given a choice of returning the chair and paying for shipping and a 20% RE-STOCK FEE, even though chair was damaged or have someone come out to "repair" the chair. In short, we are stuck with a broken chair that we paid $800 for. A costly mistake on our end for not making the driver wait 2 hours so a military inspection could be performed before signing. Yet after speaking with others who were in the same situation and did everything according to protocol ex": call within 48 hours, write "damaged" on delivery slip, take pictures etc they still were not resolved with a refund or new chair so I’m not confident had we handled this differently we would have been compensated anyways. Our plans for ordering the matching sofa and love seat from Home Cinema end here. Home Cinema said they would repair the chair at their cost but when repair man was sent out, they only authorize $125 of the repair and repair was costing $325 and upward!!! Check out the BBB, they have over 49 complaints and I believe these "positive" reviews on here are "phony". Will be getting lawyer involved. Save yourself the time and headache and go to a reputable business with customer service.

"I ordered a Phoenix bedroom set made by Coaster furniture. I found it locally and decided to check the prices online, which the local stores couldn't match. The local stores also told us about 3-4 weeks for delivery. Ordered online and had it delivered in just 5 days. We called to confirmed it wasn't on backorder first, and were told in stock. Sure enough, delivered very quick, and its a beautiful set. One of the feet on the night stand had a wierd finish. We called it in, and were ups the part in about 10 days. We just wanted to share our positive experience. "

"We placed an order for two black Homelegance bookcases and a file cabinet on Dec 31 2011. After two weeks without any information except for an email immediately after ordering we called them to find out what was going on. They said it was on back order and would be shipped in approximately two weeks. In about two more weeks we called them again and were told that the order would be shipped "in a couple of days". In a couple of days no one called us again. When we called we were promised the order would be shipped "next week". Meaningless to say no one called us "next week" as well. This time, when called they told they knew nothing about order but were going to call us at the end of the day. At the very end of the day during our call the promised to call us tomorrow. Finally they called us and told that order were ready to ship but two bookcases were white.
We cancelled the order.
