"the product I wanted/ordered was to be shipped on june 3 & delivered June 5 then on June 8 I got notice that it wouldn't ship til June 9. Then on June 8th got a phone call that the supplier was recalling the product and would ship another "plant" at a later date (not know when that would be)...I asked for full refund and caller didn't know about that. I contacted customer service and received e-mail today that 2 amounts (product and then delivery) were credited back on my credit card account. It really wasn't Home Depot's direct error, but the supplier would never have notified me of any problems if I hadn't complained about the delivery date issues. This won't discourage me from shopping at H.D., but I'll be more careful about suppliers."

"I ordered a piece of equipment on line. My wife had previously ordered the same equipment somewhere else. I called within an hour of placing my order and was told I had to call back in an hour as my order was too new to cancel. When I called back I was told it couldn't be canceled. Who ever heard of such a thing. We no longer place big ticket orders with them as they obviously cannot be trusted. "
