"I called customer service since my online pay pal transaction errored out on Home Depot's website. I had a confirmation from Paypal but home depot customer service refused to offer the same price as my pay pal transaction #.
I informed them this was my last Home depot purchase and escalated to a CS manager but they could care less. Last time buy - I've spend thousands of $ at Home Depot but not afer their poor treatment of a customer caused by their IT issue. Not another dime. I'm a Lowes customer from now on. "
"Where do I begin? Ordered appliances (range & microwave) online but later received an email notification that order was incomplete b/c I didn't select a delivery date. There was no option to select. Message on the online ordering stated "delivery date was unavailable and would be contacted by HD. " Called Customer service rep at the 800# referenced in the email and he stated there was a "glitch" in the system and suggested I call my local store. Called the local store and spoke to Trina who couldn't understand why customer service would say that. She checked the system for my order....no order. Her recommendation was to take the order over the phone and get credit card info. My response....no way, I didn't want to be billed twice for $1,500. She said she would check it out and call back. She called back an hour later. Customer svc rep must've been new. Trina cancelled my order and placed another order over the phone and scheduled a delivery date. Said HD would call the day before to give me the 4-hr delivery window and again 30 mins before delivery.
Evening before delivery day I receive a call from an 800#, answer the phone...nothing but silence. Who was that? Delivery day, no call. Wait til noon and decided to call the 800# and a voice says "all our agents are busy, please hold for the next available agent." No other identifier. Hmmm, not falling for that. Googled the phone number to find that it's a delivery company for HD. Called the 800# again and took my place in the queue. The lady answers and confirms they are the delivery company. Gives me the info and checks with the driver to see where I am on the stop. Soon after, I get a call from the "Contact Center" and the automated voice identifies as HD; lets me know the driver will be there in 30 mins. They arrive, drop off boxes, sign the papers, and gone in a flash. No un-boxing or taking huge cardboard away. After opening the range box I discover there was no power cord which was part of the order.
Called the HD local store this morning and Jim, the rep for contractor services, was very accommodating. Was willing to deliver the cord to my home but I opted to stop by and pick it up.
Now let's see if the appliances work.

"I ordered a door online on September 15th. to be delivered to the store on the 25th. No door on the date and I had to call several times to get it delivered. Finally the door arrives and the shipping company have totally smashed the door. This is in no way Home Depots fault.
BUT it is now 15 day ago and I still haven't received a refund. I have called 5 times each taking 30-45 minutes to get to the "right" person. Every time I get different answers about the return and today I just lost it.
Because of an internal error the payout can not take place before another 10-12 days. I will NEVER EVER buy anything from them online anymore. Their explanation is that because they are such a big corporation no-one can do anything fast....Seriously??? "
