"Item not indicated as out-of-stock when order was placed. Attempt to cancel (could not accept 2-3 week back-order delay) delayed for five days because customer service rep's computer (in India) continued to show item was in the shipping process. Finally after several false updates, contact with supervisor (in New York?) affirmed back-order status and order was finally cancelled. "

"Worst customer service experience I have ever had.
I placed an order on a weekend for an outdoor fireplace, and received a phone call the following Monday from a customer service agent explaining to me that they had issues with pricing over the weekend, and for me to keep my order they would have to charge me an additional $300. He was not willing to honor his original deal, although my credit card had already been charged. I was told that I would have to pay the extra $300. I tried to explain to him that if he is working for a legitimate business, then they would have to admit their mistake, and hold up their end of the agreement by honoring their pricing. It was like talking to a brick wall, and he chose to cancel my order rather than shipping the product I had already paid for."

"We bought two Grohe faucets, Nearly $1100.00 and one came with missing parts. There was no handle and parts were missing. I issued a ticket for this $400.00 item and no one returned the call or the email. Someone from possibly India answered the customer service line and just like the other commenter said, was extremely rude and kept interrupting me not allowing me to explain the defect. He said he will take my name to have the office call me on Monday, but did not bother asking me my phone number. Then he put me on hold and disconnected me. Clearly, he had no intent to call me back. I am building a new kitchen and the contractor is so upset that the kitchen sink parts are missing. We have had no functioning kitchen faucet for five weeks because of these people and the nightmere is not over since they do not respond and obviously deal with shady individuals who sell defective items to the public. I am aout of $400.00 and have no recourse. They will take orders on the weekends, but will not respond to you id you have a defective merchandise."
"I received my order within specified time minus one item that was backordered.
I had to open up several maybe 5 tickets to get it resolved "to ship the two items in stock asap" . Every ticket that was opened was immediately. I guess that was the objective to "never' have an open ticket by the end of the day, which caused multiple tickets for the same issue. I never received the shipping info but I used the 'Chat" and was promptly sent the FEDEX info. I am still waiting on the backordered item which is now in house and will ship next week and was told it would arrive thursday when my plumber is scheduled.which may be a problem since Fedex deliveries aren't till late evenings."

"Good price. When i ordered the display indicated one unit available. After i purchased it i received an email that it was 3 to 4 weeks back-ordered. I tried to cancel the order. The next day received a response to my cancellation that the unit would ship within 24 hours. I had already ordered one somewhere else. Fortunately, the other vendor allowed cancellation and processed it."

"The order was filled immediately and shipped. I have purchased from Home Perfect many times and when the item comes directly from the manufacturer there is always a long delay. I would recommend to not charge the customer until the item is ready to ship."
"Item was listed as "In Stock", but was in reality, not in stock because Home Perfect doesn't stock anything. They have it drop shipped from the manufacturer. The wrong item was sent and it was very difficult to find out that the correct item was back ordered many weeks. All phone calls are routed to a phone room somewhere in India and "support tickets" take several days to be answered. It took a month (and several calls to India) from the order date to finally receive a refund.
I will never use them again."
"I bought the wrong size item- my fault, and needed to do an exchange, The restocking fee seemed a little excessive at 25% and the free shipping was no longer free so I did lose a few bucks but the price was good to begin with so I came out all right."
