"at time of order, item was available
however first email from HomePerfect indicated item was 2-3 week backordered
When I attempted to cancel order, customer service indicated item was shipping and tracking number was pending and cancel request was rejected by HomePerfect
Item was always on backorder and HomePerfect did not want to lse sale

"I've had 2 good experiences with this company so far. We're building a home and they have great prices on a lot of higher end products and seem to deliver quickly. Every time I've called their customer service line I've spoken with someone in New York, not in India as some other reviewers have commented on. I'm fairly certain that they order from the manufacturers directly and have the items dropped shipped so if I'm unsure about the availability of an item I call to see if it's in stock and they check with the manufacturer to make sure. I will keep ordering from them because of their pricing and good customer service."

"except for the web site's lack of sorting ability, I (helped by company web sites ex hansgrohe.com)was able to order what I needed, and everything came as promised according to the tracking device.

As for the sorting and information when doing searches: the old system worked as close to perfection as could be expected, whereas the new system - implemented a couple of years ago - is really bad. if you do not know what you are looking for, the chance of optimal choice is dismal.

"I purchased a faucet and after my credit card was charged, I received an email saying my order was in backorder for 3-6 weeks. If an item is in backorder you should advise your customer before they make their purchase. Of course, I had to cancel the order."

"I ordered on August 13th and received a kitchen faucet in about a week.
It is used, defective and damaged!
In the manufacturer's box, on top of the instructions, was a letter from a design company describing a defect found after a plumber installed it, leaking from the main body; there are damaging wrench marks in the same area. The letter is dated 11/2008, that's almost five years ago!
I sent emails with photos for documentation on august 21st. Used the online form to request a FedEx pick-up, RGA number and a full refund. It says that a response will follow in 24-72 hours; it's been about two weeks now!
I'm requesting a full refund... And the pick up the used defective and damaged faucet!!
