"I would not do business with this company again.
I recently purchased a composite sink from Home perfect. It arrived via Federal Express and was left on my doorstep with no signing requirement.
when we opened the box and inspected the sink we could not see any damage. six weeks later we removed the sink from the box and again saw no damage. The next day when the light was shining on the sink, 2 cracks were observed in 2 of the corners.
When I contacted Home Perfect initially they said they could not do anything but then said to send pictures. At this point is when the frustrating trouble began. I did not receive any response so I called customer service. After being placed on hold for a lengthy period, I was told it had to go to a manager who was busy and that I would receive a call back. Two days later , nothing! I tried to call again early on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and got a voice message saying that they would not be taking any calls until the following Monday (5 days later). I was now getting into a time crunch and needed to get a sink soon. When I called back on the Monday, I was then told again that they could do nothing and they couldn't even ship a new sink to me in a timely fashion. At this point I thanked them for their LACK of customer service and was promptly HUNG UP on!!"

I sat on hold for 30 Minutes+ and requested to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on.
Trying to cancel my order and I cant even do that.
Item showed in stock and as soon as I placed order I was sent an email saying item was back ordered and would be 2-5weeks!
Avoid!!!"
"took them 7 days to ship my "In Stock" boiler which i find unacceptable. After 6 days, i called to check on the shipping status, was put on hold for 7 1/2 minutes and then was hung up on. Thank God the boiler arrived intact and operational - i got myself worried sick after reading some of the terrible experiences other people have had. the bottom line is: you get what you pay for. Low cost = slow shipping & no customer service. If you must purchase from this low-cost vendor, i suggest purchasing via Pay Pal - they guarantee transactions made through them and will help you resolve any issues that could come up."

"Worst experience ever in dealing with an online purchase. Adam was great when we first got the order started, but then when a week went by and no word if the tub shipped i got worried. Then all the toilets arrived, still no word on the tub. Bought a Toto freestanding tub and 3 Toto toilets. They finally found th tub and it took another week to ship it. The The wrong drain kit and overflow valve shipped with the tub and they never took care of it. Adam was no longer returning calls and we were on our own to locate and purchase the kit needed. This delayed our bath remodel for 2 weeks. The tub was also received Damaged and took forever to get them to agree to anything. We found out that they tried to repair it and sold it as new. I finally had to have the tub repaired and sent them an invoice. I didn't like having to repair a tub I just spent thousands of dollars on. It will never be the same." They say they will help at first but never return calls or do what they say. They offered no other compensation for all the hassle and delays we encountered. "

"Home Perfect has great prices and when they list something as in stock you will get it quickly. Where they drop the ball is when something goes wrong. I ordered quite a few items on their site and had an issue with only two items but they made the process painful for both! I got a sink that arrived in about 1,000 pieces and they made my contractor jump through hoops to return it. Later when the faucet was installed it leaked and they made me go direct to the manufacturer to resolve the issue and when that didn't fix the problem they wouldn't do an exchange for a new faucet I had to purchase a new one and then then said I could return the original and get a credit but after about 3 phone calls and 3 emails they still never got back to me on how I could return the original faucet. After this experience with Home Perfect my contractor (who orginally had them on his list of "Recommended Retailers")said he would probably not use or recommend them again. Price isn't everything. .. you need to follow up with good customer service. "
"I placed a number of orders with Home Perfect over the summer months, and when everything works, it works. But as soon as there is a problem, oh boy! My last order was for 3 Duravit mirrors, for a total exceeding $1100. Number 1 shows up, broken. Now, 6 weeks later, a return is still pending and no refund. Number 2 arrived, broken, and interestingly that one was picked up, 4 days later! No refund and no replacement, however. Number 3 apparently also broke in transit, and no delivery attempt was made. No refund, no replacement. I, meanwhile, have shown great tolerance and flexibility: Suggest another brand that you can ship properly! No. Replace and use white glove shipping, I'll pay for the extra shipping (up to a point)! No. Get me a refund! No can do, we're "investigating", which can take up to 90 days. I am still waiting. So, trust me, SHOP ELSEWHERE!"

"The shower valve I ordered came wrapped in a drop cloth bag, not a factory sealed box.It wasn't even the one I ordered, but a cheaper model. I was willing to keep it, if I would get refunded the difference. Home Perfect never returned my calls,or e-mails to correct the mistake. So I shipped item back. A month goes by and still no response. After more calls a guy from India does answer. After ten minutes of trying to communicate with him I got my money refunded. Shame on Home Perfect for using these people.

"If you know absolutely what you want, Home Perfect is the perfect place to get the best price. But, PLEASE, be sure before you order. If you have to make a return, Home Perfect turns into a labyrinth of rules, regulations, and delays. I returned a sink on April 9, 2012. I got confirmation that UPS delivered the sink on April 10, 2012. It is now August 20, 2012. Nearly five months have passed, and I have yet to see a credit to my charge card. I reminded them again on August 1, 2012, via e-mail. A customer service representative asked me to send the credit card information along, which I did. Twenty-eight days later, NO CREDIT.
Here's an update: Right after submitting this review, I finally got someone on the phone, who directed me to the president of the company! He sounded truly horrified that my return fell through the cracks. He immediately processed a full refund, waiving the restocking fee I had expected to pay. He gave me his personal phone extension, just in case anything went wrong in the credit transaction. It didn't, and now I'm a somewhat satisfied customer. Wish I persisted on the phone route earlier. "
"When dealing with a reseller, you have to expect that there may be some delays with receiving order, whether it be items shipping separately due to availability. Or perhaps it's a slower response time due to inclement weather, as was the case in this situation. When I wasn't able to get the answers I needed regarding a particular order from Customer Service, I contacted Alex Teller at HomePerfect directly and he was able to provide me with the information I needed pertaining to the delivery of my order. Not only was he sincere in his interest in helping resolve my issue, but he took the time to confirm whether or not my order would be out for delivery the following day. Unbeknownst to me until after our conversation, I came to realize that Alex is the President of HomePerfect! Clearly he takes an invested interest in how efficient his business is run, leading by example. "
"Be careful, they sell used/returned items. I recently bought a Grohe kitchen faucet which had concrete pieces in the hoses. I had a licensed plumber install the faucet which meant I had to pay him twice as much since he had to clean it out first. When I called customer service I was told to send an email to them addressing my problem,which I did. The Customer Service Manager (promptly) wrote back to send them a photograph of the item when it was first opened -so that she could look into it-!!
I would only take a picture if I had anticipated a problem. However, I did kept the gravel/ concrete which was in the faucet, I can send them that.... The picture would not contain that to prove it was in the hose!!
Without that they cannot do anything, however, were willing to give me a 5% discount if I would buy another item from their website, for the inconvenience this has caused!?!
SO BEWARE, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS!
I would not trust Home Perfect again!"
"Horrible customer service. Tried twice online to get a return authorization with NO contact in return. Had to call and the woman who I spoke to was horrendous. I let her know we would dispute with AMEX the restocking fee but would pay the freight. She told me to go ahead because they "spend a lot more money with AMEX than (I) do"...class act Home Perfect.
THEY ARE A RESELLER THAT DOES NOT STOCK ITEMS(THEY ORDER FROM OTHER WAREHOUSES THAT CHARGE THEM RESTOCKING FEES) EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS "IN STOCK"... GO TO A VALID RETAILER WITH REASONABLE RETURN POLICIES...THANK GOODNESS ALL I ORDERED WAS A $60 ITEM...I WILL EBAY IT FOR MORE!"
