I'm not impressed by their customer service."

" The home security story provided all the details of the home alarm package that i purchased except the fact that the stranded 18 gauge insulated wire that powers the unit has to be purchased separately. There customer service department was helpful in setting up the alarm and stayed with me on the phone to ensure it was working properly. all in all, i would highly recommend buying a home alarm system from the Home Security Store if you chose to not go with a standard provider and are a do it yourselfer.

"I purchased a Rokonet Wireless System from Home Security store several years ago and began having problems with the back up batteries and transformer after a year. The warranty was out and Rokonet would not sell the transformer or the highly peculiar back up batteries the panel took. After filing complaints with the BBB I was able to get Rokonet to provide a replacement transformer and batteries. The problem returned after another 2 years. Again, no batteries can be purchased for the unit from ANY source. Rokonet refuses to sell them. The Home Security Store does not carry the batteries, but still sells the 'Wisdom Wireless Security System." The manager I spoke with - RUBEN - would not provide ANY help with the batteries, and stated I should buy a new security system. When I asked if I could receive a discount on a new system, considering the fact that I purchased ALL of my original security system from Home Security Store, and that it was only five years old, I was offered only 5% off on a new system. The Home Security Store is a pathetic place to purchase ANYTHING. They don't care about customer satisfaction. They don't care about helping you with a problem with an alarm you purchase FROM THEM. 'Life time' Tech support is a joke. Avoid purchasing anything from the Home Security Store. If they are serious about customer satisfaction, then start by firing 'Ruben.'"
