"We love our new stools that have a beautiful back to the chair. We chose the color distressed with a white seat. My husband was able to put them together in good time. He is usually not the best at putting things together. The only problem was with the swivel part of the chair which he was eventually able to figure it out and complete all 4 barstool chairs. They do need better instruction with this part. the brass part of the swivel seat needs to be turned hard manually. Other than that everything turned out wonderfully! Thanks Houzz for the quality product which we didn't expect until we opened the box. "

"This was my second purchase from the Houzz website. My first purchase about 8 months ago was perfect - arrived when promised and exactly as described - maybe even better in person (mongolian lamb 20" pouf).

This second purchase was for something sort of similar - a vanity bench with antique gold legs and a faux mongolian fur seat. $400 item. It was horrendous looking in real life - the legs had literal sharp edged gouges all over them. The seat was as hard as a rock with bery little cushion to it and the fur was cheap and very short pile. This looked like something you could find in the back of TJ Maxx in the super duper clearance section for $70 because it looked like it had had a rough life.

Needless to say - I requested to return the same day. AFter a couple emails the seller reached out - somewhat with an aggressive, defensive tone - asking for photos and proof of the gaouges. They tried to say this was part of the antiquing process. Ummmmmm - no - sorry - antiquing is a "finish" - not 3-dimensional gouges all over the legs that were all the way down into the base metal.

Ultimately they agreed to process the return and sent a paid label to return it.

My point is this: beware of purchasing from one of Houzz' third-party sellers. Houzz is just giving them a platform to sell their product, and really no benefit to the consumer other than a greater selection of products. They will step in if you have trouble with the seller, but honestly - who wants that aggravation in their life? I know I do not.

"I purchased multiple products for a vanity that we are replacing. Unfortunately, I was using Paypal to complete the transaction, and it automatically entered the wrong address. Within a matter of five hours, I had informed Houzz of this problem, but the vanity was sold on Houzz by a third party vendor (who was then using another party--fourth party??--to ship the items). There was no good way to effectively and quickly communicate with the vendor directly in real time, so we went through a period of several days going back and forth through strange messaging platforms, and frustrating calls to FedEx to ensure our orders were delivered to our home. In the end, it came down to the kindness of our local FedEx driver, and a "resolution team manager", to change the address, and actually go and pick up one of the packages from our former apartment where it had been initially left outside. Make sure you understand who is actually selling you a product on Houzz. I would recommend buying only from Houzz directly."

I waited until you got this pot back in, because I wanted the yellow flowers with a little orange edge. This pot has bright orange flowers. It does not look like the picture I ordered from.
