"I listened to the sound clips provided on the JP cycles website and decided to go with the Vance & Hines High Output 4.5 slip-ons for my CVO Ultra Classic because they had a nice rich deep tone-not to loud or overly aggressive. This is a very classy bike so I want the sound to be equally as classy. So with over $700.00 initially invested, including shipping, I was very surprised and disappointed after installing these pipes. They are ridiculously loud-even at idle. I don't think they'll pass the local noise restriction . I'll be hassled by the cops if I leave them as they are. Plus, I can't hear my 160 watt Harmon Kardon sound system over the exhaust noise, even with the taller than stock windshield. There is no advertised decibel rating on these pipes so "buyer beware" when ordering from JP cycle because everything is at "their" discretion and at YOUR risk. Once they've got your money it's too late! The customer service rep told me-"once you install the pipes their non-returnable". I was told that I had to purchase the silencers at my own expense if I wanted to quiet them down. So another $71.92 plus shipping. Cha-ching! I'm still waiting for the silencers to show up. I hope I'm very pleased with the sound because by now this is not a good deal at all. Now I'm in at over $800.00 with shipping at JP cycle and still no guarantees whether or not I'll be happy with the sound. Tough luck for me, my mistake. Looking forward, I've learned my lesson to next time shop local or with someone reputable and more customer service oriented, who will stand behind their advertised claims and their product."

"The windshield that was delivered to my home did not match the windshield I ordered (wrong model year). However, J&P did refund the purchase price (I ate the shipping costs since I returned it via US postal service over night shipping...apparently, that particular shipping method falls outside of there return shipping options). Mistakes happen...I've had good luck with J&P in the past. "

"The mirrors I bought for my bike suck. Can't get them to stay in place at all. Every ride they vibrate out of place and dangel there. Not happy at all. I will have to spend another 80 bucks or so get new ones now. (New update) Nice come back for customer service. All they said to the above review is that they try hard to have good customer service, but never offered to fix the problem or even talk about it. "
