"Delivery and customer service was fine. Their was not a good enough discription or picture of the item I bought. I thought I was buying a different part and ended up with something I can't use. I take some responsabilty for not k owing exactly what to call the part I was wanting and punching in what I thought it would be called and bought what came up under the search. Now I have to got through the trouble and time out of my days to I.element the return process and I'm sure wait weeks to see the refund on my card. I will still continue to buy parts from j&p cycles. I just won't buy parts I'm not sure of that don't have a good description or pic of placement on motorcycle...of course I don't know if I'll be refunded the shipping either, so anyway you look at this situation I lose time and money and I'm my business time is money and lots of it. I do not blame this on j&p, I do wish they would have better discriptions and picks of placement on motorcycle though this way mistakes like this could be avoided and like I said I probably won't order parts from j&p that I'm not 100% sure what there called unless the discription shows a pic of the parts placement.
I WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO AMEND THIS REVIEW AS AFTER RRSDING IT MYSELF IT IS NOT CLEAR THST I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS MISTAKE AND WROTE IT HASTEFULLY ASI EAS TRYING TO GET OUT THE DOOR TI YAKE MY DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL... In no way am I placing any blame on j&p. They have always got my parts toe quick and usually have prices even cheaper than eBay on the same or similar parts. J&p will always be my first go to cycle parts shop for all my parts, the 3 out of 5 stars I gave reflected my expieriance on this purchase which I clearly take blame for, I changed that because I realized that reflects negative in them not me. As far as not ordering from them on parts I'm not 100% clear on placement on bike, that is not limited to them it goes for any where. It is not yhiet fault I thought down tubes referred to the upper potion of the forks, that's on me and my ignorance. It would be nice for better descriptions, but I understand they can only do so much and its our responsibility as consumers to know what we are ordering. J&P is the best by far payrs shop out their and make it easy to tell if what your looking at fit your bike ( if you know what the parts called) I should have asked someone or done more research before I orders this part. In fact after in done here I will be ordering a chain for my bike from them because I know I'll get the right part at the best price, no need to even check anywhere else. My apologies to j&p if my prior review hurt your business in anyway. I will always recommend j&p to everyone who needs parts for their bike and will continue buying all my parts from them. As far as the return process goes I spoke to soon, I haven't even began the process and should expect it to go well based on everything else. I am not happy with myself as far as this expeiriance not unhappy with J&P. Anyone reading this let me save you some time....there is no reason to east it looking for a better deal because at first I did and that's all I did is wast a lot of time. If they have it you can count on it being the best price and if you order more than one item they will usually ship together to save you on shipping. So my rating for j&p is 5 stars across the board."
