"I was not happy with the workmanship on this dress.To make things worse contacting Jen Jen to make arrangemenr to return it is impossible. The online site makes it impossible. There is no phone # to call and eventually the 7 day return policy runs out. Thats one thing thata perfectly clear online. Its a gimic. I wouldnt e en give this dress to a thrift shop.
April 29 - A company representative contacted me quickly after reading my first review. They offered to take the dress back and refund my payment. "This dress experience has truly been a nightmare and it is still not resolved.
I ordered the dress and paid expedited shipping. I did not get expedited shipping.
When we got the dress it was made horribly. The straps do not match. It has peek-a-boo material on the stomach and the lining is coming up between these panels. You can actually see the raw ends of the lining through the peek-a-boo material. The zipper does not work right and I was informed that that is how they work. They requested that I take the dress to fix the problems with the dress. I took it to a lady who alters dresses and she told me to get ALL my money back and what a horribly made dress it is. Meanwhile through emails JenJenHouse is telling me how beautiful the dress is. The lady that does alterations said that the zipper is so cheap and that is why it won't zip correctly. She wouldn't touch the dress.
I could go on and on about how badly this dress is made. But the thing I find most upsetting has been their customer service over it. It's just a bad dress. Take it back and refund my money. Don't play games with me about the dress.
I have gone from sad, to angry, to sad about this dumb dress and all the time I've put in just trying to get a solution. Meanwhile I paid around $250.00 dollars for something horrible and my daughter does not have a prom dress.
I have seen the canned answers that follow bad reviews and I am sure I will get one also. I am just trying to spread the word not to be fooled by these dresses. I expected a cheaper looking dress, but I did not expect such a poorly made dress and poor customer service. Someone just made a very bad dress and I would expect them to rectify it instead of making a situation worse."
