"My dress was delivered on time on 4.19.13 and I picked it up 4.23.13. I tried it on 4.23.13 and there are three dark, black oil-looking stains in front, two on the inside lining, and I have taken pictures to prove it. I was very excited, however I am not going to be able to wear this dress with dark, black stains in the front of the dress. Overall, I have had no problem with the service, just very dissatisfied because I was do excited. It is defective and I cannot wear it.

"We just received my daughter's prom dress and it is beautiful. I was slightly hesitant and had a back up plan of power shopping if it did not arrive on time, however, it arrived very quickly with custom sizing.

Our only disappointment is the bust was not altered to our specifications so we are now scrambling to find a local seamstress. The hips and length are perfect, unfortunately, the top literally falls right off her. This is really not the end of the world since the dress arrived so quickly, however, we were really hoping for a perfect fit as we did pay for "custom" and took the time to measure her.

I do plan on ordering again from Jen Jen House again with hopes the alterations are perfect and would definitely recommend them to others."

"UPDATE: I still stand by my disappointment in the quality of the workmanship, but the customer service was good. Because of my original review (below) they contacted me to make sure they made me happy. They offered a refund if I wanted to return the dress, and a 40% refund if I decided to keep it (which I did, due to the time remaining until prom, and the fact that a seamstress had already made the alterations). I honestly did not expect to be contacted, and I am impressed with the customer service.
The quality of the product was disappointing. We ordered a size larger to be on the safe side, and it was almost impossible for a seamstress to alter. The rhinestones were sewn into the seams, and one side of the dress had more fabric in the seam than the other. It was very bulky because of the seams in the waist, and what high school senior wants to look bulky in her prom dress?"
