"My first order for a dress was very dissapointing. The dress details said that it was a lace up back and that was the very main thing i wanted in a wedding dress but when i received it, it turned out to be a zip up! this was false information. I didnt require the custom made option because i had been previously professionally measured and the standard option seemed perfect for me. Again when i received it, it didnt fit at all it was a really bad fit overall. The material of the dress from the waist down looked and felt very cheap. I communicated my issues with customer service straight away to request a return but was refused, instead i got a measly $20 voucher. The veil and the tiara i ordered with the dress i really liked so I decided to try out the other accessories in the hopes that they would be okay. My 2nd order included shoes, a clutch, and some jewlery. I was very dissapointed with the earrings because again the information online stated that it was for pierced ears but when i got them it was actually a clip on. The clip at the back is very cheap and weak, it would never stay on my ears for the whole wedding day. The shoes fit perfectly and the clutch is nice. However, I wouldnt use or recommend JenJen House to anyone because a lot of the information on the products is either incorrect or misleading. Also I am now having to spend more money to get the dress altered - the back changed to a lace up and that horrible fabric taken off the bottom as well as getting the earrings changed to a pierced back by a professional. I had no issues with shipping - i received the products promptly. Addition: wow after reading so many reviews on here I see that this company seem to change the pictures of the products ordered a lot his happened to me also. This is such poor practice! Glad I'm never shopping here again.


Reponse to JenJen House below: it doesnt help me that you changed it after the fact! People BEWARE descriptions of products are not always right!

It shouldnt matter whether i get standard size or custom if someone is following your size chart and measuring guide as i did then there shouldnt be such a big difference from that and what arrives. There was a huge difference here! Why should someone waste money and pay extra for custom when standard had appropriate measurements? It sounds like another way to rip people off and if they do complain you use this as an excuse for the sizing received. What is the point of having the standard sizing on your site why not just make it all custom?

All companies say that blabber about "We care for our customers and your feedback..." bla bla! Only a few will actually do the right thing by a customer to really satisfy them and rectify wrong doing.

Because the size you choose is standard size, it's common that the dress doesn't fit perfectly sometimes. That's why we highly suggest our customers check our size chart and measuring guide first and choose custom size. And we are willing to help you solve the problem.

"I bought a dress from jenjenhouse in need for my formal and it arrived exactly two weeks! I'm located in melbourne Australia and the dress quality is good for its price. Customer service was absolutely great! I contacted them so many times because I was afraid my dress would not come in time but it did. They give fast responses and keep you updated on the dress. "I ordered 3 dresses with jenjen, 2 bridesmaids and my wedding dress.
Knowing we are all short I decided to get professionally fitted so that I knew measurements would be perfect. After a very speedy 2 weeks the dresses arrived perfectly wrapped and folded.
The bridesmaid dresses were spot in but when it came to mine the length was so short.
I had read that as it was hand made that measurements could be out by an inch. With that in mind I added length to my original measurements. My dress was 1.5 inches too short and was unable to wear heels.
I emailed jenjen and got a prompt response to which I'm greatful but their reply was that it would add to my beauty! Total insult!!! They also told me it would be too risky to alter so this got my back up.
After having many unhappy emails between myself and one of the customer service ladies the manager (summer) emailed me... Thank god she did! She advised me to take it to the tailors and see if they could help before we go any further. She looked at my photos and apologised and admitted it was their fault. She told me that they always add fabric so that they can be altered.
I took her advice and thankfully it can just about be fixed.
I informed summer and she was fantastic offering to pay the alteration cost in full (£40).
Overall I think the customer service team need a little training in how to speak to people to keep situations calm and not to add fuel to the fire. Summer was great and fingers crossed my dress will be perfect on the day.

"I am more than happy with the service I received from JenJenHouse. I ordered a colour swatch, my wedding dress and 4 bridesmaid dresses and could not fault one thing! They were so quick to respond to my order and had my custom made wedding dress within 2 weeks of ordering! All the bridemaid dresses fit perfect and are exactly as desribed.

"I bought the A-Line/Princess Strapless Floor-Length Chiffon Charmeuse Evening Dresses With Ruffle Beading (017013100) dress and I may say it is beautiful... Just a litlle problem near the zipper area, which makes some ruffles on the back, that i will have fixed in a local dresser, with the help of customer service.
The deadline wasn't respected and a couldn't use it on the event I was going to hear it, but... again customer service found a way to compensate me for that! I ordered the dress in blue (colour in the picture) and it is slightly diferent, but still gorgeous. The size 6 was made with the exact measures that the size chart mentions, although the length of the dress is too big for me, but i never asked it to be shorter as i was afraid that it was too short, and being long i can solve... and short i couldn't.
I'm happy with the dress, and I look forward to have an event where i can use it.
Plus, i am now waiting for a pair of shoes i ordered yesterday...

"JejJen House is great! I was really sceptical at first, ordering a wedding dress online, but you exceeded all my expectations! The dress was delivered to my front door, within a month, it was beautifully sown in a fabulous material and really nicely packed. It is the dress of my dreams, and I got it for a very small cost, but at the best service ever! I have recommended You to everybody and will definitely order from You again! :)

"Really disappointed, my order arrived later than the date said and was just asked to be patient, the dance shoes were too big although I used the measuring chart and really wide, the quality is really poor and cheap looking. I won't be using jenjenhouse again."

"I purchased two items at different times from JenJenHouse. The first item was a dress and I received it on time, but the photo did not show pink flowers on the dress, so when I received it, I was dissappointed, but I am trying to work with it. The second item was my wedding veil and slip which was ordered 9/22/12, I still have not received it!! JenJenhouse said it was received in my country on 10/9/12, but my international post office says there is no way it has entered the USA. I have sent several email messages to JenJenhouse for them to track the package and at this point they are not helping at all. They are just saying it arrived in my county. I keep asking them to track where the package is, but no help!!!!! I have paid for a package and have no idea where it is. I get married next Saturday and don't have my veil or slip. I did finally receive a full refund of my merchandise. Thank you for taking care of that."
