"I had placed an order online yesterday whose shipping address and billing address had to be corrected. I had sent an email regarding the same and also called customer service to make sure that my irder is placed on time. Then I got an email that my order still had problem and that was because the customer service agent hadn’t corrected the address. It further caused more problems when i called another customer service agent who said that she doesn’t know how to correct the address so she cancelled my order and told me to place a new order. When i tried placing the new order, by that time one of the item became unavailable and now i will not even receive my remaining items on time. I wasted my entire day because your customer service is not competent enough to do things correctly. Causing so much problem to customers isn’t good for business. I don’t think I will be placing any order with Jerry’s artarama in the future."

"A week ago, when my Jerry's order was delivered to the wrong address (I still don't know where), Jerry's was quick to send me an immediate replacement. I was VERY impressed by that level of customer support.
The replacement shipment arrived quickly, and I was delighted. I'd ordered products that had been deeply discounted, and -- for the price -- the quality was fine. I especially like the Princeton Catalyst brush (filbert, size 8) for painting with oils & acrylics; it may be the best fine art paintbrush I've ever tried. (That's saying a lot. My mother's an artist and Mass. College of Art graduate. So, since childhood, I've been painting with high quality artist's supplies.)
But then, two days ago, the missing package from Jerry's showed up at my front door. Being honest, I reported this to Jerry's as soon as I discovered it.
The package looked like someone had sat on it. The packing tape was barely holding it together. There were multiple printed labels on the box. My address was in tiny, 1mm type. It was difficult to read among two larger, additional addresses on the shipping label, plus lots of other print. (By contrast, the replacement package had shown my name & address in big, clear print at the top of the label, marked "Ship To.")
So, it was no surprise that the original package had been misdirected. I expected Jerry's to tell me to return the package, or just keep it. (This had been a very small "test order" to see if I liked Jerry's.)
Yes, Jerry's wanted the package back, and I was fine with that. But then they refused to authorize UPS pickup at my door. Jerry's said I had to drive to a UPS office and ship it, myself. (This would have taken at least an hour out of my busy day.)
I sent photos to Jerry's, showing the label issues and the condition of the box. I explained that I wasn't happy about having to drive to UPS. I wasn't sure UPS would accept the package, as damaged as it was when someone left it at my door. (The replacement package had arrived in pristine condition.)
Also, the whole reason for shopping online is to avoid drive time and stress.
Later that day, I sent messages to two other offices at Jerry's, too. I received no response.
Today, I sent yet another email. Finally, Jerry's agreed that I should just keep the package or give it to charity. Whew! That's a relief.
But, this could have been resolved more happily on both sides if they'd just authorized UPS pickup at my door.
I doubt that I'll shop at Jerry's again. Certainly not online. This kind of customer support (or lack of it) is unacceptable.
But, in time (after this frustrating experience is a vague memory), I may shop at one of Jerry's retail stores because their products and prices seem very good. And, this afternoon, I'm still telling friends about this wonderful Princeton Catalyst paintbrush. I'll be ordering more like it... but from another leading online art supplier."

"Every time I order, I receive a message that I have to call in to verify it, as my address has changed (it has not), delaying the order for days. Most recently, after that call, I did not receive the order at all. I see, a week later, that the order was cancelled, without notifying me; presumably the person I spoke with made a mistake. I may still use Jerry's in the future, since, when they actually send the order, they have a great selection and decent prices. However, I would never count on them for anything I really needed, as they're completely undependable."
