"If you don't care how long it takes to receive your product, and you are willing to trim fabric ends, and ignore the emails claiming the status of item production - then order away!
If you expect things to be on time and without delivery drama, you will be greatly disappointed after waiting 6-8 weeks for production only to experience delays and a lack of clarity where your actual product is located at any given time. JB Hunt can't even identify if the product is in their warehouse even after they sent a computer call telling me it was checked in and "on the way".
The products need better quality review before they leave the company, and JB Hunt has no business leaving broken furniture in a customers' home...to be left for 8 weeks for the replacement to arrive-then they wanted to schedule one date for pick up, and a separate date for delivery of the new product, interrupting my work day more than necessary! Who has that kind of time off?
The excuses of the couch having cushion clips, but the cushion arriving without the connection clips, and a replacement cushion having NO clips at all, is ridiculous and unprofessional. There is NO reason to remove the clips from a cushion! A good company would ALWAYS put clips on a couch cushion to hold the cushion in place. FIX IT, Joybird! But you didn't, instead you gave excuses stating "we don't put clips on the cushion anymore". The fabric on the couch cushion leaves wrinkles when people stand up looking sloppy beyond belief.
In fairness, employee, Celeste, did procure product credit for me to make up for delivery delays but that doesn't take into account the quality of the products after arrival. And, insult to injury...one of the items I ordered (in August) with the credit has now been placed in back order and not available until November... it continues. I still have credit, but afraid to get excited about anything because of the delays!"

"First things first: I love the look of Joybird's stuff, and it seems to be well made...at least part of the time. And their customer service reps are friendly and helpful. So...last October I ordered a Louie chair and a Hughes chaise, and they both arrived in great shape (but a few weeks later than promised). At the same time I ordered a Fitzgerald sofa. When it arrived, one of the holes for the legs hadn't been drilled properly, so it couldn't be assembled. So Joybird sent a replacement. When it arrived, also a couple weeks later than promised, the upholstery was damaged on one of the arms. So Joybird sent a replacement. When it arrived, it was damaged in exactly the same spot...so I'm now waiting on couch number four. The packaging looked like there was very little padding, making it easy to damage in transit--maybe this is an attempt to save money, but I can't see how sending me four different couches makes good business sense. So, basically, if your order is quality controlled and manages to get safely to your door in its flimsy packaging, you could have some awesome furniture. But if not, you could be on your third replacement nearly a year later... "

"At first we were a bit concerned about buying expensive furniture online without having had sat on it. But then, we were extremely impressed by fabric sampling and really great style selections and so we bought a very cool set of couches less than 2 years ago, they were custom made. We ordered couches from a sectional set and wanted them made such that the couches stood as individual pieces, meaning the bottom seams needed to continue all the way. When the couches arrived, they forgot to do this. We got in touch with customer service and were WOW'ed by how they handled this issue. They took full responsibility for the error and offered to replace the entire set. We were even willing to have a local furniture maker make the seam adjustments for a cost way smaller than it had cost Joybird to replace the entire set, but they insisted on a full replacement. We were very pleased and actually had a neighbor buy the original sectional set from joybird, to save them pickup/delivery costs and having this set be just sitting somewhere in the warehouse, waiting for someone to buy this particular style in this particular color (lime green.) So it all initially worked out and we thought - what a great company, they went out of their way for us, we went out of our way for them, that's how it should be.... In just over two months, our new, correct couches had arrived.... But then, a little time passed....
These couches are sitting in our game room, which gets used extremely rarely, a few times a month.... We noticed that the buttons on the tufted areas began to pop, seams began to rip and fabric began to roll up into little lint balls/pilling and on one of the couches, the entire seam on the arm began to rip. Mind you, we are a very healthy family, NOT overweight heavy people or someone who jumps around on couches! I submitted a warranty claim with detailed descriptions and photos. The response was super friendly, but (i can't find a better word for it) LAME!, as it suggested i use a shaver to shave off the pilling and suggested we don't put blankets or throws on the couch, in hopes this would solve our problem. SERIOUSLY???? a two year old couch, regardless of blankets or frequency of use, should NOT be falling apart. This fabric was never meant for furniture upholstery, BUTTONS should NOT POP and SEAMS should NOT RIP, but the lame response from customer service has left me exceptionally disappointed!
I do hope that a manager who cares about the company's reputation reads this review and trains staff to have better responses for issues that involve serious defects in product quality."

"When were purchased our first home several years ago, we made the costly mistake of furnishing our home with mostly items from a certain Swedish Big Box store. It served a quick and dirty purpose, however, it soon started falling apart and most of it ended up in a landfill by the time when we sold and purchased our second home, 3 years ago. The warmth, texture, look and feel was better than we ever imagined, and exceeded all expectations. Very soon after receipt, we ordered 2 sets of pillows and a new bed from Joybird, and delivered the same superior quality. "Buying our first home meant finally purchasing the ideal furniture for our home and its dimensions. I received an advertisement on Facebook for Joybird and instantly fell in love with the modern design. Then, when I received a mailer for 30% off once we moved in - I decided that it was definitely time to consider this brand. We received a swatch kit and absolutely loved the Royale line of fabrics - we especially liked that something so luxurious was pet friendly. We ended up choosing Royale Peacock for the Eliot Apartment Sectional (our home is a modest 1,000 sq. ft. - so this mini version of their larger sectional was the PERFECT dimensions). We ordered and waited (very patiently - it takes a while since it's custom) and it finally arrived. It's absolutely stunning. Exactly what we wanted. Every single person that walks through our doors is instantly stunned by how lovely this couch is. We did end up with two issues (that Joybird handled wonderfully): 1. Some of the stuffing was coming out of the button holes in a few of the cushions when we received it. I reached out to Joybird and they instantly offered me a very fair solution to the problem. And 2. The fabric isn't 100% pet friendly. Dogs that tend to dig before laying down should be fine (though you will visibly see the scratches) but if you have a dog that favors digging - they WILL DIG THIS COUCH. It is crazy soft and super tempting for a dog to dig at it. We had a friend's dog stay with us and while unattended she was able to remove the protective layer we added (just a few blankets) and dug ferociously into the cushions. While they did hold up very well (speaks to the high quality of this material and the craftsmanship of the couch as a whole) - they were scratched to bits. I reached out to Joybird and yet again - they provided me with a VERY fair solution. Again and again, they're validating my decision to spend the money on my first "adult" couch. Even with this "scratching" issue - I'd purchase this couch over and over again. Buy from this brand - you will NOT be disappointed by the quality or the customer service. (We're buying the ottoman to match today!)"
