Read the reviews on all the sites and you’ll see that clearly this is clearly a scam business that is taking people’s money through deceitful practices…except the reviews on Just Answered (which are obviously fake positive reviews, all without names) , clearly it’s agreed that this company is a total scam! Do not give your info! "On May 11th 2023, I signed up for a 7-Day trial for $1. I was not just charged the dollar I was charged an additional $25 for a quote monthly fee". I did not agree to this membership for $25 and even if I did, I should have not been charged till the 18th which was 7 Days Later! I called the company within an hour and canceled the membership and requested everything be refunded. I received cancellation email but it didn't say anything about my refund and that didn't happen until June 11th. I think this is part of the scam, they purposely don't send the message until one month later so that they think they legitimately can charge you. I have gone through the bank to get the refund they have been lying to the bank, I have called the company multiple times and they keep lying to me one of their clients is that they refunded me well the bank does not see a refund on my account and my statement shows no refunds on my account. I will continue to fight this but please, do not fall for the scam!"

"n January JustAnswer answered a question for me. They had quoted a low price but charged me £35 and I also had to sign up for a membership. I was disappointed with that and the totally inadequate advice I received but decided to take it on the chin and I cancelled my membership. This cancellation was confirmed in an email from Jeff Cavellini of JustAnswer on 30 January 2013. I omitted checking my credit card statements for a whilesubsequently and when I did on June 27 I found that JustAnswer had continued to charge me £35 for the period February through June, £175 in all. I called JustAnswer and they refused to refund the excess charge as 'they had a second email on their file for me and that email had not been cancelled.' What nonsense, my account was cancelled and I should not have been charged at all. What a bunch of dishonest people - please think very very hard before you use them."

"I went to get an answer to one question. I got monthly charges of $30.00 per month until I caught it and they say I signed up for a "membership". I did not, it was never explained that I would get recurring charges or I would have quit right then and there."

My money was refunded only because I was able to get some phone numbers from other dissatisfied customers. This company is run by souless robots. Save yourself some money and a broken heart. "I needed an answer to a question and went searching for it online. A "veterinary assistant" Pearl Wilson (I want confirmation of this person's existence and her credentials) pounced on me when I visited one of the links. As I tried talking with her more she certainly seemed more like a bot than an actual person. It said I could get an answer to my question for $1.00 (FULLY REFUNDABLE). So I entered my credit card information and then got an email saying I had been charged $32.00 in total NOT REFUNDABLE. Furthermore...I never got the answer! I got an alert saying that it was ready, but it has not appeared anywhere that I can find (email, text, website, etc.) I reported this to my bank for investigation as potential scam/fraud and requested a chargeback since they misled me and then did not even produce the product! This seems to be a company that fishes for vulnerable people (I was having a veterinary emergency) to exploit. This is the first business in my life I have thought I wish I could give zero stars on the review. !!!AVOID!!!"

I had my question answered with really no legal resolution or adequate advice. Nothing that google cannot find. I immediately withdrew the subscription as I had no intention of subscribing to ask one question.
I did not get any further correspondence from justanswer and assumed the subscription was cancelled. It seems on review of my bank statement I was then charged a few days later $66 and that subsequent membership fee has been taken from my account since Nov. Justanswer has not provided any email correspondence. They have not indicated or sent any invoicing of any nature to my email which would have indicated an ongoing membership was in place.

This is an absolute breech of consumer affairs and click bait. When you cancel yo avoid a subscription but get no correspondence ever from the business how are we to know. This is an absolute true example of false and misleading advertising.

Any email correspondence since has all been computer generated and attempts to call have been ignored.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the very short response I got to my question and really was honestly not worth $2 let alone $264. I'm sure they can see people who have been completely mislead. This is a scam and with the use of AI these days are simply prying and stealing money of vanrauble people.
I have requested a full refund and simply get an automated response.

I am still requesting a full refund of $264. In times of economic hardship this has dramatically affected my living.
It's such a shame companies out there are willing and happy to steal from the valuable without any correspondence.

I am well aware of any subscription based signups I have and are displaced periodically in a table. These are subscriptions used. Ie. Spotify and turnitin..
