On top of that, when I noticed a $66 charge on my credit card alongside the $2 for which I signed up originally, I contacted their customer support and they told me that I opted for it. Needless to say that they have a 7-day free trial policy for new customers. I contacted after 1 day and I was denied the refund. Why? The customer service person Jamil was not helpful at all. "
"The customer service support is horrible. The guy literally argue and fight with me over the phone. It says refund guaranteed. I paid $51 and found out it’s not the service I need, called back the next day to ask for a refund. they don’t want to give any refund. Also super rude on the phone. The chat window on the screen doesn’t work for customer support, it’s like they could control the screen, if it’s about complains. you simply can’t type anything. this is not a reliable company. don’t waste your money"

"This company has a good idea going but terrible practice. I wanted to know more information about some car issues, and their ADS kept popping up. Just in case ya'll don't know, they PAY Google to push their website to the front of google searches, so beware!! They mentioned a $1 refundable charge but NEVER mentioned when you agree; you automatically sign up for a membership. Barley got any emails or any other communication outside the day I used the service. They use a very tiny font to let you know you will be charged the membership. While the $1-$2 refundable charge is in big bold letters. They also don't provide refunds bc "you agreed" to sign up. After reading multiple reviews, they know what they are doing. And by replying to people's review on reviewer websites like this, trying to offer a refund is shameful. They should've offered a refund off rip. As someone who works in customer service, they have TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! Pls, use Google, YouTube, or real people you know. It will cost you wayyy more money to get your answer from JustAnswer than looking through the internet. Trust me; you will be thankful later, "

"I started with a live chat... realising that it was actually and automated system. Was trying to get some information quickly and was told in the live chat (not really live chat) that there were appraisal people available today.. Wow great! so of course I fell for it and gave them my money. Thought wow impressive, I got a quick text asking for pictures and someone would get back to me.... and there was were it ended. Never heard from anyone, when tried to live chat...oh wow! shocking no one was available.. and even more shocking when I call.. no one available. The problem is don't tell someone you will have someone available today and then... never get back to them. I suspect they are trying to get large numbers of people to sign up and they don't have enough people to handle there buisness... not my problem. I would not do buisness with them"

"I had a question about something and JustAnswer popped up with a message that offered help for $5. I thought that was reasonable, so I put in my information. Then I get the invoice that shows I signed up for a membership at $55 per month and see that my credit card has a $55 pending charge for JustAnswer in addition to the $5 I thought I was being charged. I called them immediately (same day) and was told that I'd agreed to a membership, which I did not realize I'd agreed to (small print). I cancelled the membership and was told that I would not be charged the $55. The charge just posted to my credit card so I called again and was told that my money would not be refunded, as I'd agreed to a membership. I am not happy with JustAnswer."

"Their website makes it look like you can sign up for a $5 trial but when I used Paypal to pay for it, I was charged $65...$5 to sign up (SCAM) and $60 for the first month of membership (SCAM). I immediately tried to contact them via phone multiple times, email, and again on the website (where the "chat" person wouldn't allow me to ask any further questions). They sent me an email saying my membership was canceled and no "additional" funds would be withdrawn from my account. This is a shady outfit indeed!"

"This was the worst online experience of all time. I went on looking for an answer on microwave repair (wrong site for this!) It said I had to pay 1.00 and would be refunded. I was then offered to talk to someone for 24.00 so I paid for that. When the person who was going to help me told me he only texts (I don't have time for that) I said I wanted my money back. I was credited back the 24.00 but see a charge for 55.00 (MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP)
I never consented to a monthly 55.00 membership. This is egregious! I've never had a company do something like this before? I will be calling my CC company to suspend payment as it was unauthorized.

"I tried to get an answer to how to stop Instant Ink from charging my account. Then Just Answer answered my question by doing the same thing. I had to get American Express to block them or they would still be charging my account without my permission. They charged me twice and did not come close to providing actual assistance. Then they act as if they actually helped you. Stay away from this company or else you will have to call your credit card company and have them block Just Answer from constantly charging you for nothing. I would NEVER use this company again. A one-star is far too good for a review of them."
