"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY: ITEMS ARRIVE DAMAGED AND THE COMPANY REFUSES TO REPLACE THEM

The item we ordered from KBAuthority arrived severely damaged and unusable. Upon discovery, we immediately contacted their customer service only to be told that they would not replace the item. Upon further questioning, they offered to reach out to their freight carrier. When that was denied, they referred us to the manufacturer, who referred us right back to KBAuthority. This has been going on for over 10 days and has taken up a huge amount of time for both us and the customer service department, with no end in sight. The customer service department has been extremely unhelpful and obstinate, despite their flashing green and red 'Happy Holiday" wishes at the end of every email. We have repeatedly offered to pay a fee in order to facilitate a quick replacement as this is holding up our entire construction project, but the company's "best offer" has been for us to pay over 90% of the original price. This has been an utter nightmare. I advise anyone looking to buy from KBAuthority to look for your items anywhere else.

"We recently purchased a series of bathroom and kitchen faucets for a home remodel. Two faucets were defective with flawed finishes. We returned them via ups for an exchange. The company charged my credit card immediately for the replacement faucets (without my permission) and never reimbursed me the difference once they were returned to the warehouse. I have put in over 15 calls and logged numerous e mails asking to reimburse me. The company acknowledges they owe me $508 but never reimbursed. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. Very frustrating to work with this company when an issue arises. I would be very reluctant to order from them - is it worth the potential hours of your life calling them and e mailing them when their product comes faulty? We have ordered from several other companies in the past and this is the first time using KB. Never had an issue with any company we have worked with in the past. This has been a nightmare. "

"In the middle of doing my house remodeling, and needed a bunch of new kitchen / bath products. Went to Home Depot and decided to check out the same products online. Found this site, and ordered pretty much everything I needed at significantly lower prices. Had an issue with a change of an order, wife made a mistake. Called KBAuthority and a lovely girl at customer service set everything straight under 10 minutes. Great site, options, and above all prices. Highly recommend. "

"UPDATE to my original review:
On 10/24/14 I called KBAuthority.com one last time hoping to resolve the damaged backsplash issue. I reached Mike in customer service and he acknowledged having read my review below and he wanted to fix the situation. "If I'd known about this I would have tried to resolve it right away." Mike took the problem to his manager and literally within minutes KBAuthority.com reimbursed the entire cost of replacing the broken backsplash. I very much appreciate Mike's effort -- but it's a real head scratcher why others inside KBAuthority weren't able to fix this problem.

Mike made my KBAuthority experience worthwhile.

ORIGINAL REVIEW written 10/23/14:
Sept 2, 2014, I ordered a Sagehill Design Somerset 36" vanity cabinet, carrara white marble top and backsplash with sink, item number SS3621D.

We have five bathrooms and over the years I have ordered several marble tops from various vendors and each were delivered broken or cracked so I was hesitant to order online - the hassles and headache of dealing with replacements and returns can be extremely frustrating and time consuming.

Before I placed my order with KBAuthority.com I expressed my concern and they assured me "you will not be disappointed...you will be 100% satisfied, I promise you..." said Nick the sales person.

The set was delivered on time and when the carrier and I inspected the items we discovered the backsplash was broken. *ARGH* I immediately called KBAuthority.com and they said "no problem we'll get a replacement to you promptly." Seven days later I asked for an update and they said "you'll need to purchase a replacement at Home Depot, Lowes, or Menards" unfortunately none of the stores sell single pieces of replacement carrara marble nor do they special order it. I ordered a replacement from a local marble/stone supply store.

To date KBAuthority.com has not refunded me the cost of replacing the marble piece, nor have they tried to correct the situation, nor have they apologized. (I have called them a number of times and sent no less than 6 email messages).

My experience with KBAuthority.com thus far has been extremely disappointing. They do not understand how to communicate with their customers nor do they put customer satisfaction as a priority. If you want a satisfied experience I would encourage you to shop elsewhere.

"We received the merchandise we ordered in excellent condition. We were given an opportunity to back out when KBAuthority learned the shipment would take a month and would be very expensive. Excellent instructions were also sent to make certain we would be covered in case damaged goods were delivered. Everything was in excellent condition, and we are enjoying the product. "
