"I placed this service order over the phone on 5/27/2014 and paid for it with my credit card on that day since the rep. I talked to assured me that if I did I would be credited the $144 discount offered when the Braves hit a fourth inning HR (which they did on 5/24/2014). He also assured me that I would receive an additional discount since I found a lower price for the same tires at another retailer. Finally, he scheduled an appointment time for the tires to be installed on 5/28/2014 at 10AM and said this would minimize my wait.
On 5//282014 I arrived at the dealership 10 minutes BEFORE my scheduled 10AM appt. time, as requested on the Kauffman Tire website. The person I had talked to on 5/27/214 was not working that day and the staff that was there did not understand why I was there since they could not find my paperwork. Eventually my paperwork was found (they had looked in the wrong files) and they understood what I been saying about why I was there. They asked me several of the same questions that I had been asked on 5/27/2014 and said they would start installation "soon" and finish as quick as they could. I told them that the rep. I had talked to on 5/27/2014 had assured me that if I made an appt. the installation would be done quickly and I had scheduled several other appts. based on this and was pressed for time. They never acknowledged that I might have been told that and simply repeated they would do the job as quick as they could.
The installation was completed an hour and 1/2 after my "scheduled appt.".
I noticed that my bill did not list the current mileage, when I asked how this would affect any future mileage warranty claims I was told "Oh, we'll just figure that out when you come in." I said I would be more comfortable if a staff came with me to my car and recorded the mileage. The staff at the counter reluctantly agreed to do so.
When we went outside we could not find my car for a couple of minutes and I got separated from the counter person while we looked for my car. When I found the car he was about 100' away and shouted at me to just note the mileage on my bill and shout the reading to him and he would write it on the store's bill. I did just that. I then looked at my bill to see if the total matched what I was told it would be on 5/27/2014. It did, so having had enough unprofessional treatment for one morning and needing to make up for lost time I left. "
