"I used the online booking process to select new tires for my SUV. The system recommended a tire size for my vehicle. I selected the tire with outlined white letters and was told that I would contacted to set up an appointment. The Kauffman rep contacted me the following morning and said the tires I selected were not in stock and would have to be ordered for same day delivery, although they were in stock online when I made the reservation. I wanted to take advantage of a promotion that was only available for that day and was told that the promotion was valid for in stock tires installed on the particular day. I asked could that offer be honored, since the online system provided me with false information. The rep informed me that they would not honor their offer due to an online mistake. The rep was able to have the tire delivered later that day and installed for me, so I ended up receiving the offer. I sent my spouse to have the tires installed and left instructions for the outlined white letters to be placed on the outside of the tire. The rep informed her that the tire did not come with outlined white letters even though the internet wording and pictures indicated it did. So the tires were installed, and the front end was aligned. After installation, my spouse called to inform me that the tires appeared smaller than the oem tires. After my spouse arrived home, I inspected the work and noticed that the tires were smaller than the oem and what was on the vehicle prior to installation. The smaller size was suggested by the computer system and not caught during the initial set-up/installation process. Needless to say, I called the store and was told that there was not anything they could do for me, but they would notify their marketing department to ensure the errors with the online process are corrected going forward."
