"I had my first experience with Kirkland's and I will never deal with them again. I had an online order that did not arrive for over a month. I had to reach out to them 4 times to find out any information. I then later tried to post a negative review for the product I got because I was not happy with it and they sent me an email saying they were not going to post the review. So I'm lead to believe they filter through reviews and only post the positive ones, which is really messed up in my opinion. "
"Their pottery is cheap: cracks and chips easily. It's a danger and health hazard. I had pieces of it flake off and guest drank it before I noticed!!!! Thought it was just the mugs but it's their plates as well. $250 purchase "
"Placed an order online on July 3. Didn't hear anything for about 1 1/2 weeks. Sent an email to cancel my order after reading terrible reviews only be by other customers with the same problem. No response. A few days later recd an email that my order was on the way to the store. Finally got another email that I could pick it up. That email showed both items to be a lesser price. I spoke with the manager about it. She said the price I paid was the correct price. I asked why the email said the items were at a reduced price. She said that didn't really mean that. They refused to give me the items For the reduced price. Kirklands has sorry customer service! THEN, I recd another email stating that they are sorry for not responding to my email. It was in their foam folder!! REALLY? Such a lie! I will never place an online order with Kirklands again. "
"bought a table for 239.99 with 50.00 off 200 promo, total paid 234.00 with shipping, now table went to 215.00 within my 14 days price adjustment, and running a promo for additional 25% off making table 162.00 with shipping total being 196.99. so why can't I get a price adjustment, because of their stupid policy, Since I used a promo off the 239.99 really paid 189.99, and the table is now 215.00 (yet with 25% off, they do not care about that, but only care that I used a promo to make the table 189.99) so to them I paid less then the 215.00 price but apple to apple both starting and end price of the table is cheaper then what I paid yet they will not give any price adjustment. buyer beware, it is all in the favor of kirklands not the consumer. yet someone can buy the table today for 200.00 yet I have to pay 234.00. Cant return and re-buy because there was no free ship so I lose shipping or pay for it again to get the new table."
"I live a little town in pa....my daughter just finished law school and brought her first house I wasn't going down til the following week so I thought I would order this nice wreath from Kirkland that was my first error the next one came from me doing the ordering I accidentally up 52 instead of 58 house number this was the first time I mailed something ok my fault after calling FedEx and being told I would need to call Kirkland to get it investigated my next error "nothing we can do " ...manger please sorry nothing we can do you order a new one...corporate office sorry you can 15% off your next order but I said that I would pay for they to pick it back up and take it three house up "no way to charge me".... back to FedEx hoping for some help plus my daughter going to this house three time...no weath....I know this was my fault...but please some help willing to pay. I work everyday with public just it may be the customers fault I still do my best to fix it.......I will Never Buy a thing from them which if I would have read earlier I wouldn't have. "I used to love Kirklands until I did a return.
I did the return and got my money back.
Then a few weeks late I see a charge on my credit card.
I spent 40 minutes on the phone with them trying to figure out why they charged me again.
They said because they gave me too much of a refund.
Well you know what, that's not my fault.
They shouldn't have the ability to charge you randomly and not tell the customer about it.
They have terrible customer service. I will not be shopping there any longer."
"Long story short: On 5/9/17 I ordered a large canvas painting that was to be shipped-to-store. Before placing the order I checked with my local store's availability and it was not in stock. Today is 5/17/17 and the order is "Processing." The woman on the phone (Rebecca) was not only rude but snapped at me when I asked her to cancel it. She told me I had to wait until it arrived at the store to cancel. Well, it hasn't even SHIPPED yet!
So I called the store (MUCH better customer service) and spoke with the manager. Funny, but they now have two in stock that just arrived yesterday. MY order did not arrive but the normal store stock items arrived. What a mess their overall logistics department (if they even have one) must be.
Kirkland's has such lovely things....always nice and friendly store personnel. Not sure what the h*ll happened with their call center or their website ordering system but this is by far the worst I've seen. And no one seems to care! Rebecca certainly didn't!"
"My sister is moving into her first "adult" apartment, and I asked her if I could purchase anything as a housewarming gift. She wanted this specific parson's chair from Kirkland's. The price was right, so I ordered it for her on March 22. After a week, I e-mailed customer service and used the online chat to see if the chair was being shipped. My online account listed the item as "processing." Both customer service (by e-mail and online chat) confirmed that the chair was packaged and that I would receive a tracking number in 48 hours. After 72 hours roll by, I CALL customer service. I get the same line about packaging, and now the rep assured me that she would send a message to "corporate" because it was unusual the order had not moved for so long. She told me that in 48 hours I would receive a tracking number. Another 2 days pass and nothing, so I used online chat again only for that rep to tell me that 1) Order typically take 10 WORKING DAYS to leave the Kirkland's warehouse; and 2) she has nothing on my order that indicates corporate was contacted. Since this online chat rep was not helpful, I call customer service and ask to cancel the order. I am told that the order cannot be cancelled because it is packed and a manager will be notified. Two days later, I get an e-mail and phone call from Kirkland's telling me my order is cancelled because the chair is "out-of-stock." How can it be out-of-stock when it was all packaged and ready to be shipped. I am Kirkland's two stars instead of one because most of the customer service reps were pleasant. I would suggest calling, however. Online chat is useless. Everything that everyone has complained about Kirkland's online is true. Don't shop their website - it is a nightmare."
"Everything everyone is saying is true. I had THE worst customer service from their online customer service. I told my husband they had resting **** voice with me the entire time. I spent over $300 with them on this order and Samantha and Brenda could care less. Maybe if they both lost their jobs maybe they'd care more. With the amount of money that is put into advertising and email marketing to us, it always shocks me that companies don't put that money into hiring QUALITY customer service reps to work for and with their customers. The issue with my order was so complicated I'll save everyone the time. All they had to do was apologize for the mishap and I would have been thrilled. It's amazing how simple an apology will go with me to keep my business, but they wanted to blame everyone else for their mishap except themselves. I'll be telling everyone about my experience with Kirkland's that I can. My money will be going somewhere, but NOT to Kirkland's. "
"The online customer service is everything everyone has posted here. I'm a long time regular customer. I do a lot of shopping at Kirkland's both in the store and online. and have seen the online go from bad to worst. I have never checked the reviews but decided to after a bad order experience with them. And judging by the reviews they must not care as seem to be doing nothing to improve the service. They don't have a problem putting a order on your credit card but can't seem to ship in a timely fashion. And get a different response from everyone you talk to in customer service. Maybe Kirkland's has to much business and need to loose some of it to get their attention there is a problem. "
"I ordered two lamps that were in stock at 10:58 pm. Within 1 minute, I received a confirmation email. Within 10 minutes, I received another email stating that part of my order had been cancelled. They only had one of the lamps but mot to worry because I would not be billed for the cancelled item.
I was very disappointed because the were to go on each side of an entryway table, so obviously I needed both. They did not give me the opportunity to cancel. They made the decision that one would be fine.
I called the following morning to cancel the remaining lamp. My card had already been billed for BOTH lamps. The woman advised me that I would get a cancellation notice in 24 to 48 hours. I received the email that day stating that my refund had been issued in the same method of payment. It has been four days. The charge is still on my card.
I called yesterday and they sent an email to accounting to resolve the issue immediately. Like I said, no refund.
I will never order from them, ever! It's too bad to, because I really like their products and the closest store is an hour away. I guess they cost themselves a customer."
"I placed several orders with kirklands.com over the holidays. One was for a console table and end table. I did ship to store which took a little over 2 weeks. I picked up the items and came home. Both were broken. I returned them to the store and they told me I had to get a gift card since I paid by PayPal. Wow! I tried to call customer service while I was in the store. Waited 30 minutes on hold and finally gave up and took the gift card but I did do a want a call back with customer service automated phone. They called me back 6 hours later while I was in a meeting. So with my gift card I purchased another order online on 12/31. 1 was ship to store other was ship to home which I had to pay $11 for. My ship to store order was cancelled on 1/14 due to it being out of stock. It is 1/30 and still no refund. I placed another order on 12/31. Part with gift card and part with PayPal. 1 item cancelled due to it being out of stock. I decided to cancel the other items since I am done dealing with this corrupt online store. On 1/14 i cancelled everything. Called the customer service and waited over an hour for someone to answer the phone. They said it would be 10 business days and I would get a refund. It's 1/30 and no refund. I called customer service waited 20 minutes and am currently waiting on a call back from automated system. It's been 2 hours. Give me my money back or I will take legal action. It shouldn't take 2 weeks to learn something is out of stock and a month before I get my money back. Your service is horrible. "

"I made an online purchase on 11/30 for a rug that was on sale. I was charged that day. I chose to store shipping so I picked it up 12/9 when it arrived and was charged A SECOND TIME. So now I've paid more than retail value for a product I purchased solely for it's price. Scam! Do not buy from here. I have contacted the store who said they cannot do anything about it. I contacted customer service and put my phone number as a call back..NOTHING. I stayed on hold for hours a second time just to get hung up on. Live chat disappeared on me mid conversation and has conveniently been unavailable ever since. Still...NOTHING. Worst service I have ever experienced. NEVER GO HERE. I have many friends who shop here and will never go again !"
"I placed an order with Kirkland's online for a couple of in-stock items. My charge card was immediately charged and I was told the items would arrive in 10 business days or less. Well, it's now 3 weeks later, and after several calls, emails, and online chats with Kirkland's, I am being told that they damaged the items and will have to reprocess my order. I was told it will take another 2 to 3 weeks to receive the items. I was refused expedited shipping (since it was their fault) or a refund. I was told that I must wait for the items to arrive at the store before they can process a refund. They may never arrive! Everytime I call, I get a new excuse or reason they have not fulfilled my order. I am now believing they are running some sort of scam. "
