"This company is bad news if you have any intentions of saving money. After being applied a late charge of $200, that I was assured covered BOTH of my rental books, I was a month later notified that they would be applying an additional late fee of $125 for my second rental book. When I attempted to resolve the issue over the phone, they did not work with me to account for their misinformation. This company is the absolute worst and their customer help is completely unreliable. "
"I ordered a textbook for my college class that my professor told me was the incorrect book. I returned this item within the given 25 day return period and it had reached their warehouse last week. I tried using the chat feature on their website which is completely bogus, I sent an email and got no response, I even reached out to their twitter account. "I am a college student, naturally very tight on funds and was looking to save a little money with an expensive Anatomy & Physiology textbook. What a joke.
I paid $50 for my book on Jan 5, 2015, and as of this writing it is Feb 8, more than a MONTH since my order, and I HAVE YET TO RECIEVE MY BOOK. Class has been going for nearly a month now, my card has been charged, and I have NO tracking #, NO notification my order has been cancelled, NOTHING.
This company is grossly unprofessional at best. Whatever you do, do not conduct business with these people. There's an really, really good reason why the rating is 1.9/10 on here.
How can you, Knetbooks, fix my order? It's very simple, requiring only two steps:
1) Cancel it
2) Refund my money "

I was originally planning to rent this textbook, because I knew that they were going to give refunds and I might end up dropping the class, but THEY HID the fact that there was a restocking fee!! If I had known (and if they had stated this upfront), I would have NEVER ordered from them!!!!! "

"This company gives me mixed feelings. The first time I ordered on here, it took awhile until I finally received my order. I understand that the textbook was high in demand, so i see why it took kinda long.
The second time ordering on here though, was horrible. I ordered a textbook and received a textbook within a week, but it was not the book i originally ordered. I contacted customer service and the representative emailed me a free return label. She said i will get a full return for my rental when they receive the book back. I returned the incorrect book via UPS and waited weeks to receive a refund. As of today, I still have not received my refund. I emailed customer service twice regarding my refund and no one has replied to me. It has now been over a month since this transaction has started and still no refund. Horrible. Just horrible."

"Terrible customer service and inefficient operations. They couldn't even understand that I had multiple books on my order and they eventually ignored my inquiries. I still have not received all my books and it has been a month since my initial order. This has caused me to pay additional costs to simply not become behind in my classes. My email was never answered, the "live chat" always required me to sit and wait in front of my laptop for TWENTY minutes until the next representative was available and after calling in THREE times (each time included being on hold for min. 15 min, of course), I had received contradictory information about my refund and was talked to as if I was stupid. Find a better company... :("

"This is the worst text book rental you can use, they'll find a way to screw you up. I send my book back when it was due and after a week received a return on it. I called them and resend it again and they charged me the full price of the book claiming it was past 15 days of return. I really think because it was a cheap rental they just wanted to get more money from my pocket. "
