"Be very careful with Kohl's cash. Apparently they issue in-store only "promotional gifts" that say Kohl's cash on your receipt, but are not actual Kohl's cash which is supposed to be redeemable online or in-store. And they will NOT issue you a new code that can be used online. For this reason, and the illegal price mark-ups they do (google cbs 13 kohls price changes,) I am done shopping at this store."
"I've bought a great deal of clothes for low prices on Kohls. Find a coupon code and stack these on top of sales and you can get great clothes for a great price.
These guys are one of the few vendors to make fitted clothes like I like and high quality material khakis with the right fit."
"I stopped in at your store (Desert Ridge shopping center 21001 N Tatum BlvdPhoenix, AZ 85050) to pick up a gift card and to return 2 pillows. I pulled up at 9:48 pm on Thursday night March, 7th 2013 and noticed that the doors were locked, (store closes at 10 pm) I could see employees inside and customers walking about...so I figured they locked that set of doors, so I ran to the other side, and they were locked to...so I ran back to the other side, verifying the time on my cell phone (9:50pm) and as you know that all of our cell phones are the national times, we do not set them ourselves. so I knocked on the door and a male worker came to the door and said " we are closed!!" and I said "Its 9:55, (I waited outside for over 5 minutes) you close at 10, I have a quick purchase and return can I do it up here?" he said "no you have to go to the back of the store" so I started to walk to the back, run actually. and a woman employee yells at him saying "you didnt open the door for her did you?" (when it is quite obvious he did, being as though I was 20 feet in front of her. So I get to the back where 2 female employees are checking out another customer and they quickly yell at me saying "ma'am we are closed!!" I explained that I have been at Kohls for 10 mins and they locked their doors early and even so, it was only 9:58, they were still technically open. She didnt respond I asked again if they have a policy of closing early and she said no, that my clock isnt the same as their clock (again I have the same time as everyone else, and even the gentleman from earlier agreed they locked their doors early. I asked her to make an exception and she she rudely said no and that her register was closed, (even though she was using it for another customer) I filmed the whole incident and will post it on a few websites so that you may see how this woman treated me. She said her name was Kathy and that the manager was Deborah. I drove all the way for 78th street and Indian school, a good 30 min. drive all the way to purchase a $100 gift card for my moms birthday (today) and return 2 pillows. I can assure you I wont be getting her a gift card from Kohls nor ever be returning to kohls, only to make returns. I just thought Kohls may want to know that your Desert Ridge location locks their doors 10 minutes before close and treats their customers worse than Michael Vick treats dogs. The link below is the video of the actual incident.

"I ordered a toy at a great price and the transaction went smoothly. Never pay full price at Kohls. Buy at a sale price and use a coupon along with a cash back portal."
"Putting in multiple orders when Kohl had gigantic sale online September 21, 2012; however, Kohl has sent me only few items which didn't have really deep discounted price at all and canceled all my other orders. The worst thing is Kohl charged it to my gift card and didn't refund back to me for one of the charges which is $25.19.
Update
After more than three months and numbers of call, Kohl finally refunded the full amount of $25.19 back to my gift card account because of their incompetent customer service employees who made the mistakn, lie to me and hang up the phone on me.

"I have shopped at Kohls for years and have always had a good experience. However the order I placed 11/22/12 was split into two deliveries and I only received one. It is fortunate, that the most important gift, a Barbie Sportscar for my granddaughter, was the first shipped and I received it without any problem. The remainder is showing that it was delivered within a few days of the first package but it never arrived. It has been reported to Kohls but will not know if there will be favorable results until the package is located or refunded."
"Christmas ruined by Kohls! We placed an order online with Kohls on November 26th and they completely lost the order even though it showed that they had shipped it online. By the time we did get a hold of someone they had sold out of our entire Christmas order. My parents are getting old and this is the first time they tried to shop in this way. Kohls wouldn't do a damn thing except refund the money they lost. My mother is going into surgery tomorrow and has no way of getting her Christmas shopping done now! This is the most awful business management I have ever seen in my life! If you do plan on working with this company make sure you know what you are getting into and prepare for hell!"
"Positive reviews on Kohl's? Can you say "fake"? Check this out: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57554335-285/how-to-spot-fake-user-reviews-while-shopping-online/
Now, about my sad experience with them.
I ordered twice from Kohl's. Once for just over $100, the second time for just over $50. To my excuse, I did it in one day, few hours apart, so it counts as one mistake.
It's been more than a week, and they shipped the second order, but not the first. I e-mailed their "support". No response, no reassurance. I did see the $100 order change its status to "complete", and FedEx now has a record of the "shipment information" which was supposedly "sent" to them. The $50 order (which was shipped full 5 days after being placed), will only arrive next week (according to FedEx). This is unacceptable. Don't give them your money! Vote with your wallet, people. I know I will.
Oh, yes, their return service is fair because you can return to their store, provided you have one close by... There's hope for them yet... NOT! According to ResellerRatings.com Kohl's "does NOT actively participate" here "to monitor feedback and resolve your issues.""
"I have to say I am in the middle of the first kohls.com shopping experience and it has the professionalism I would expect from a brand new eBay seller but not a company.
I spent enough to quality for $45 in Kohl's cash which would expire 12-3, it is 12-3 and I still do not have it. I ordered a week ago. The shipment arrived today 1 item. I ordered 15 items. The same day I ordered about 55 other items online, they are all here but not kohls.com. I have been trying to contact customer service via email and 800# for 7 days. The email gets an auto response and the phone basically says they don't have customer service right now but they have a computer you can use. I know it is the week following black Friday but why don't you put your customers in front of your stock holders for a change and do America some good and staff up because guess what, Black Friday is going to be busy. Now you know and you can staff for it next year."
"I placed an order and was suppose to receive Kohl's cash, which I did not. Then, only half my order was filled and they cancelled the other half without informing me. Especially, nice since this was a Christmas gift. When I called customer service, they said "that's too bad, but there is nothing we can do".
I will never shop Kohls or use Kohls.com again."
"Recently, I ordered 2 collage frames. They arrived early, however it must have been the worst packing job I have ever seen. Both frames were put into one enormous box with a little bubble wrap stuffed in. They were not packed in there tight enough, so of course both frames came damaged. One had broken glass and the other looked like one of the panels had been forcefully bent and busted. The frames were made extremely cheaply and were not as described (metal not wood), so in a way I was happy to return them. I wont order from Kohl's again."
"I placed an order 11/22. The order was for 16 different things so arriving in 2 packages, which I expected as one of the items is a vacuum. I was told the order would arrive between 11/29-12/5, but I had plenty of time before Christmas so I wasn't worried. I just checked FedEx today and its on the truck for delivery and should be here today - 11/24! Excellent shipping time, especially for free shipping!"
"I saw an ad for the Narcisco Rodriguez colorblock line and really wanted to purchase these pieces. Since there is no Kohls store where I live, my only option was kohls.com. At first, after reading all the negative reviews on here, I was a bit hesitant to place the online order. I really wanted these items so I took a chance. To my delight, I received my order, correct sizes and all within a week! The Narcisco Rodriguez pieces are gorgeous and classy! They were also on sale and I had an additional promo coupon so it was like paying half price for each item + Free Shipping! The fabric and workmanship is of real good quality. The only drawback is that the sizes run large, the XS is a little big on me. I am still pleased with my order and Kohls at this time."
"They've made it quite clear that customer service is not important to them and I will not shop with Kohl's again. Cancelled my card and telling my family and friends not to shop there."
"I had a Kohl's card which I bought some suits for a job with. Not only were they crappy quality and the crotch ripped within a month, but I had a family member fall ill from cancer and had to quit and come home to help with his care. I contacted them and told them my situation. I was getting 10-15 calls a day from collectors from them. Basically they said sorry we can't stop harassing you, just pay us. I still receive 10-20 calls from many different states, leaving endless messages, mostly pre-recorded from them. They have no sympathy for loyal customers, although they claim to be charitable."
