"People are enticed with, The price will go down as they get older. However, when the child gets older, prices raise and end up equaling the initial price from the beginning. The Director at this particular La Petite is perfect. She is the person you want in charge.. probably in any business. Again, though, the management under her seems to go by a script when answering tough questions. The staff is friendly and I feel that turnover is very low with their employees. The staff seem to get their feelings hurt whenever an issue is brought up by the parents. The next few days they tend to be off-putting when the parents come in. If a child is excelling at La Petite but the Room they are in doesn't provide that education/curriculum, La Petite will hold them back until they are allowed into the Room that provides this particular training, milestone, education, etc. As a parent, when you go to this facility you DO feel that it is a warmer environment. You feel safe. Also, for myself, since my child did go to another daycare for a few short months prior to La Petite, you understand that people do care more than other daycare here. With the pros and cons it makes it a hard decision on whether to stay or not."
"Most teachers seem to really care about students but education is held back by need for school to make revenue. Consolidation of rooms occurs before the kid leaving is even out of the room -- makes parents feel very uncomfortable. Continuous price increases do not seem to result in better curriculum or more opportunities for students. Survey feedback seems to be ignored."
"I have provided the same message in every survey and nothing seems to change. I've takes to the Director and even her manager and, still, nothing has changed for the better. It takes days, if not weeks, for the director to get back to you and, in each conversation, she goes on the defensive. Never just apologies for a situation or shoes empathy. She also is very quick to blame the teachers when they are trying their best, just not staffed approximately. Also, as we walk in to get our kids, Shannon or Erin always seem to be right behind us, counting the kids left so they can combine rooms. While this may be LP policy everywhere, it makes us feel like their focus is to cut teachers quickly to save as much money as possible. It is vey unprofessional. As I said, I don't expect anything to be done with this info as nothing has changed in the past. This school does not give LP an overall good reputation and one would think you would want to change that."

"Very loving and kind staff. Have taken my grandson's personal life into consideration when working with him. His mother is member of US Army has deployed once since his attendance, his parents divorced within the past year and this kid has adjusted very well and continues to adjust with minimal disruption and the staff has been sensitive to his situation when he is moody which is not very often. However, they seem to sense when he is moody his mother has just returned to Kentucky or a promise may have been broken by the other parent. I really appreciated their help and assistance in this matter. Thank You."
"Shannon needs to go. She's lost touch with her families and is more concerned about her dating life and profits than the kids.Put Erin in charge or bring Anna back."
"Better parking for pickup of children."
"Over all, my feelings toward the school vary per classroom. There are some amazing teachers who are loving, engaging, and really care about the child's development. There are others who could benefit from classes that teach you how to speak with young children or how to handle the stress of high energy children."
"Shannon is the best! Love everybody here!"
"Education, daily programming, and attention is provided at a common level for each child. Little to no consideration is given to those children who are advanced or learn differently."
"Overall this is a good school. Teachers really care about the students, however, it seems like it is a business first and daycare second. Very few changes actually occur, curriculum doesn't change often, but prices always increase."
"So far it has been great. Director Shannon is very engaging to all of our needs, and the most of the teachers are very professional, and teaching the children with kindness."
"Shannon the Director, and Erin, Assistant Director have been excellent to work with. It is so comforting to know that my child is taken care of during the day with people who care. It is hard to leave a child at daycare, but knowing my daughter is at this particular LaPetite with Shannon and Erin leading the school is very comforting. My daughter has had exceptional teachers in every classroom that I feel care about her and always communicate with me."
