"Mixed bag here. I've ordered from them, maybe, a dozen times. Normally no problem except for order processing a little slow. Until last time. $500+ of Genuine CyberPowerSystems batteries for my UPSs. First, their inventory control was off. Said they had 7 but actually had 6. I can work around that. But when they turned up, they were almost THREE YEARS OLD. Not good. Really not good for a perishable item like batteries. They say "return them", but it's at my expense and the things weigh almost 100 lb. So that's not a reasonable solution and overall expensive fail. Turns out Amazon lowered their price on the same thing and threw in Prime shipping. Their batteries were 3 months old. That'll teach me a lesson."

"Needed a quantity of d-cell batteries. Google found these people who had Energizer Max at a very low price (less than Amazon Basics). Good deal. Ordered $50 worth of them. 6 packages. They charge me for 6 but ship only five. According to their front end, the order was shipped in full. A mature e-commerce site would have better connection between front and back ends. So, tried to call customer service. They won't answer the phone. "Too many calls, use email". Hmmmm. Send email with complaint. Surprisingly, they answer in"

Cost effective, excellent service.
"Needed a few feet of unusual cable. They had it in stock and were willing to fill what for them was a small order. No problems. Showed up in two days on a spool, very well protected (it's hard to damage SOOO cable... just sayin') in a strong box. Paid significantly less than any other source I found for it. Highly recommended."

These guys are GREAT
"Three orders for plumbing parts, every one arrived overnight at no charge. Each was correct, packed well, and the products are good quality. When it comes to plumbing, electrical, HVAC supplies, there's very little they don't have, and virtually everything is in stock. And if that's not enough, their pricing is about as good as you're going to find. There's little reason to shop anywhere else."

"I hesitate to give these guys a glowing review since the item I bought was a loss-leader meant to build their email list. On the plus side, they did deliver what they advertised, at the agreed-upon price ("free", plus $6 shipping), but then, the item was small, simple, and highly tolerant of $2 USPS shipping. Does this mean that I'd happily click off a $6000 watch order? Absolutely Not!! I'd consider them at this point, but that's about as far as I'd rave in this review. Plus, I'm posting this as a result of an email from them. Not that they suggested *what* to post, only that they would appreciate a review. Ethically, not pure as the driven snow, but then, not blatant review-forging either, except to the extent that there will be lots of people posting glowing reviews on their performance selling a promo item. So take that for what it's worth..... not a heck of a lot. In reading the bulk of these reviews, you should ask yourself why some of the really critical reviews involving high-dollar items have gone unanswered by this "participating merchant". Now THAT would worry me."

"Specifically BJS.COM, their online retail branch. AVOID. They are typically slow to ship. They do typically include shipping charges in the displayed price, and as of the latter half of 2012 they are using FEDEX Ground. The problem with them is their cavalier attitude to packing for shipment. Experience now has demonstrated to me that their routine packing is no packing at all. They will simply toss whatever you ordered in a cardboard box and slap on a label. That's IT. No peanuts. No crumpled brown paper. NOTHING. The straw that broke this particular camel's back was a camera and memory combo offer. It arrived, as I said, in a box without any filler at all. Consequently, the memory card, which was originally TAPED onto the camera box in its small plastic holder had come loose and popped open. So the MicroSD memory card was flying around in the cardboard box LOOSE. At first, I didn't even see it, but finally found it under one of the flaps in the bottom of the box. Needless to say, this is inexcusable, careless, and customer-hostile. Writing to them to complain elicited the most preposterous excuse you could imagine, which included the notion that their packaging is "economical" to hold down costs. So okay... You throw a multi-hundred dollar camera and memory loose in a box, which is practically inviting shipping damage and a return, and that's somehow economical? Clearly, the idiots that are in charge of this dismal operation don't get it. Avoid them. Well, at least avoid them for anything breakable. If you're buying bath towels at a good price, they might manage to get that right. But if history is any guide, they'll probably throw them in a Glad garbage bag, tape it up, slap a label on it and send it off. I don't trust them at all. You shouldn't either."

"I've placed only a single simple order for some unusual Redline Oil. They sent the right stuff, packed adequately, and shipped the same day as I entered the order. So no complaints at all. The only reason for deduction of stars is that the stuff was priced at full list. But then, anywhere you go to order Redline or Amsoil you're probably going to be paying the full list, so maybe I shouldn't complain about it. But at $13/qt, I'll reserve the right to complain. Anyway, no problem with these guys so far, and I'd order from them again."

"Well, I'd ordered from these people a number of times without too much trouble, except for one product that had a foul taste on the outside of the capsules which they replaced without argument. However, on my last order, they had a promotion of ~10% off which they conveniently forgot to include when they charged my CC. The cute part about it was that the order acknowledgement showed the proper amount, but the charge was for $28 more than the amount shown on the acknowledgment. The online order form showed the correct amount, and in fact stated that your card will be charged for $X, while they turned around and charged for $X+28. I find it VERY hard to believe that this is "an accident". Computer programs, for all their faults, don't just make things up. They do what they're told. Now I should add that they gave me no problem in crediting back the amount in error, but the fact remains that this is an error that simply should not happen. It makes one wonder how many other people have been ripped off because they didn't compare the actual charge with the amount they expected to pay. I think the next time I'm going with Vitacost. Never had a problem of any kind with them."

"I ran across this merchant courtesy of Google while searching for "Spot" brand rope toys for my weinerdogs. I'd never heard of them. The site is festooned with all the usual "BBB" and "UPS" kinds of logos. I'm always suspicious of overdoing that kind of thing, but went ahead anyway since they had what I was looking for. My local dog supply emporium used to have these ropes for around $9-$10 each. Here, they were $3-$4. That's a pretty good deal, and if the worst happened, I could always address it via the credit card company. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary. They turned out to be legitimate. The online ordering worked out fine, the order was shipped (apparently drop-shipped from a separate fulfillment company) in under a day, arrived at my door two days after ordering and about two hours before their email telling me that it had shipped. The products were exactly what I expected and still in the original manufacturer packaging. The order was packed well. Overall, a very satisfactory transaction that saved me a whole lot of money. The wienerdogs are even happier since their old ropes were little more than knotted strings and now they have the chance to destroy some new ones."

"I'm a long-term (since the days when they were Ewiz) occasional customer of SuperBiiz. Occasional because they're on the other side of the continent and I'm normally much too cheap to pay for anything other than ground transportation, so suppliers with warehouses in, say, NJ from which things typically arrive overnight at ground rates have a huge advantage. Anyway, they have managed to survive in a highly competitive environment by offering very good deals on items that are slightly off the yolk-soaked path, which in this case were Arctic Cooling fans that no one else seemed to carry. As usual, they shipped them promptly and packed them somewhat better than necessary. I've never had anything but a positive experience with SuperBiiz."

"(Their domain name is actually starmicroinc.net) This was my first order with them, and it was not without a bit of anxiety, mostly due to their 1995-vintage web site. "Primitive" approximately captures the online buying experience. On the other hand, they had pretty good reviews here, and I had sent them a pre-sale question that they answered intelligently in about a half-day. So I took the plunge and ordered an OEM Q8400. I'm happy to say that they did well. They shipped it in less than 24 hours. It was very well protected and packed in a box that was a lot larger than they could have gotten away with. It came with an invoice that had "TESTED" stamped on it with someone's initials. I suppose the stamp had some basis in reality because the processor works as it should. While it's just the luck of the draw, the processor I got, a standard Q8400, meets the Q8400S specification. Good deal. I guess the only negative about the experience centers around their web site. "1995" is not an exaggeration. There's no way to see order status, for example. There's no order history either. But on balance, they do answer the phone and they send status updates by email, so maybe this shouldn't be a showstopper. All things considered and based on this one positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again."

"These guys are the standard to which others only aspire. The last order I placed was for a fairly heavy subwoofer that was not only the lowest price anywhere, but included free shipping. They ship it the same day it was ordered and it was on my porch overnight (UPS ground). Not only that, do they simply slap a label on the retail box (like the Ovoid Company is so famous for doing)? Nope. Double-boxed with plenty of packing material. You absolutely positively can not find anyone better than B&H."

"They're really really good. I was reluctant because of the "Obsessed Housewife" aspect of QVC, but they had what I needed at a competitive price. Their order processing is efficient and informative. They did exactly what they promised. They even included a return label with the items I bought in case I changed my mind. Wow. They shipped the day after the order was placed in very sturdy and well-cushioned packaging. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised and rather impressed. Now I feel guilty about making fun of QVC customers for all these years."

"I've ordered from these guys only once so far, but the experience was painless and positive, even for the piddling little order I placed -- three 2.5" USB external disk enclosures. They shipped same-day, sent the tracking number, and packed the stuff far better than necessary. They sent step-by-step status updates, too. I used Google Checkout so can't say much about their native credit card processing. Bottom line: I'd use them again without hesitation if their price/availability is right."
