"I recently bought two bedside wall lights from LITB. One of them didn't work. At first I was okay to take the option of a 20% refund on the faulty light, and leave it at that. However, Alejandro, my customer support contact said he thought that "wouldn't be good enough" and that if I could send him a video of the light not working, they would ship me a replacement light. I was surprised and delighted. I sent the video and Alejandro replied quickly, apologising on behalf of the company and said that a new light would be shipped shortly. His emails were always respectful and helpful and as he was my sole contact, the continuity of service made it easy. They have also offered me a discount on my next purchase because of the inconvenience caused. This is unexpectedly excellent customer service in a time when good customer service is becoming rare."
