"2/21/18 I purchased miter saw and a stand to go with it. Both had missing and damaged parts. Called the recommended number and was told that parts were not replacement parts. Repaired damaged threads by chasing with taps and dies. One part still missing as was told it wasn't a replacement part. Would not recommend to my worst enemy."
"I've tried to order 2 items on the Lowe's website for over an hour and have yet to be able to place my order. I have chatted with them and called their customer service line. This is the worst time I've ever had purchasing anything on line. I am using a gift card and it won't let me check out......although it applies the gift card to my order. Now it's trying to charge me a $60 delivery fee to deliver an item that cost $19. when it's telling me I have free shipping as a Lowe's card holder ??? I actually went to the store on Saturday and they told me they do not carry one of the items I'm trying to order on line. So that was a total waste of my time, too !
I shop online all of the time for convenience as I work 2 jobs and have never experienced such incompetence in dealing with a major company ?? The customer service people both on line and on phone are unable to help. The on-line chat person told me I would have to go to the store to place my order.
I would give them zero stars if that were an option.........I guess I will take my business elsewhere as it's too hard to shop with this company. Total exercise in frustration !!!!"
"Our dishwasher leaked (under warranty) and it has taken 2 weeks for someone to come and “diagnose” the problem. Lowe’s customer service is supposed to help with damage control. I’ve let them know that we had to pull up our flooring, purchase an industrial fan to dry it out, We had mold so we had to take care of that. They will not help us with the damage if we “do anything ourselves”. They said quote “people try to do stuff themselves and expect us to write a check”. Do they treat all their customers this way? Do they except everyone to sit in filth and without a working dishwasher for 2 weeks? We have two toddlers at home that is inhaling all this crap. They don’t care and Never ever will I give Lowe’s another dime because they have made us feel SO unworthy and disrespected. "
"Ordered Stove online, was provided a initial deliver date. Credit Card was charged, delivery date came without any contact from Lowes. Had to call the store and was told that stove would not be available for months.
Never delivered, no contact from Lowes had to call and beg for information. Order canceled Lowes could care less."
"Ordered a 96 gal trash can back on 2/2 online to be sent to the Dyersburg Tn store with an expected delivery date of 2/9, called yesterday to see if order had arrived and the lady told me to call back tomorrow because it would probably be on that nights truck, I call back sat 2/10 and this time I’m told “it may be out on the truck just not in our system yet, so call back later or tomorrow” . At this point I’m getting frustrated because it had been since 2/2 that I have been waiting for this delivery so I call the 1-800 customer service number on the order confirmation, this lady ask me to hold while she checks on it only for her to come and tell ME to call vendor money to find out where it’s at...... UH NO, I told the lady to just cancel my order and issue my refund. Guess I’ll be shopping elsewhere! Dang Lowe’s was hoping you could do better than that"

Their product isn't the only thing that is of poor quality, their customer service is absolutely horrendous, 2 years ago I purchased a 400.00 shower door product#4400a-60clor through Lowes. Unfortunately due to a poor finish on the product, the bottom track is now pealing revealing the galvanized steel underneath which is horrendous.
Now if this was Kohler and or Moen when I reached their customer service and sent photos over of their product they would have gladly sent me a whole new unit, let alone just a replacement piece which is all I was asking for. Instead what I received (after reaching our multiple times to them) was a part number WHICH I HAVE TO PAY FOR. Another $110.00 on top of the $400.00 purchase are you kidding me.
This is the service I receive after discovering it is indeed your product that is defective. Well Thanks Alot, oh and thank you Lowes for the fantastic choice in the products you house in your company as well talk about awful brand recognition. Needless to say NEVER PURCHASE anything from these individuals instead use a reputable company like Kohler and or Moen. POOR PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SAY THE LEAST"
"Lowe's sent me a kitchen faucet that wasn't correct. I had installed the faucet prior to finding the error. It was a 19922T when I ordered a 19922TZ not big deal right. I could have ordered the 19922T cheaper with free shipping from Amazon. Amazon didn't have the TZ so I ordered from Lowes. Lowes wanted me to uninstall the T and return before they would send me the TZ. Amazon would have shipped the me the replacement product and given me 30 days to return the old. HUGH difference, as removing an shipping back would involve an extra removal and install of the faucet. Lowe's has no value for my time. Really disappointing for a major building products chain. Also it took them 3 day to ship an overnight payment for shipment, how is that good service."
"Actually turned around to shop Lowe's today (we were on our way to Home Depot, another 15 minutes away when we remembered the newer store in the neighbourhood): what a mistake! Not only did they not have the item we were after in stock – they sell 5 or 6 different sizes but had only a couple available – but the only available staff in the department was **** with a customer. I took a picture of the item in question, including the stock # / description before heading off to find assistance. I searched through every aisle, then nearer to the checkout area before I could find a red apron. I found someone who was not a hardware guy who told me we'd go find someone from the department. Encouraged, I followed him back through the hardware section and down to the end of an aisle, where another customer stopped to ask him a question. To my shock and dismay, he dropped our search and headed off with this new individual to help him with his quest!
*This* is how Lowe's treats its customers?!! We have only shopped Lowe's a handful of times and have had no problems there in the past but I definitely won't be back any time soon. Will also ensure that my contractor is not spending my $$ there for any current or future renovation projects."

"If you have issues online with Lowe's and can't get customer service to fix it, don't bother going to the top guy for support. Placed 2 orders online for diy project and all merchandise was in stock locally (several of each item in fact) but Lowe's cancelled not one, but both orders claiming they were out of stock for delivery in my area. Even after they cancelled, the items were still showing available online. Emailed top guy, Mr. Niblock, no response. Ridiculous. As a Vet I loved shopping at Lowe's, but they've gone down hill. Ended up finding the Gladiator garage items cheaper at Home Depot anyway, Lowe's loss."

"Received defective merchandise from LOWES online. Tried to return at a local LOWES store. Over 1 hour and 30 minutes and they could not process the return. The process besides being unsuccessful, resulted in 2 unauthorized charges to my LOWES credit card. In trying to refund the purchase they actually charged my card again for a previous online purchases. Calling LOWES online resulted in being placed on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes while they tried to work things out on the defective merchandise, only to be told to go to the store and try again!

"We ordered a new double oven electric range on December 8th from Lowe's online. When we ordered it, the website stated that it would arrive on or before December 22nd. That would be today and it didn't arrive... We needed the new stove for Christmas. If they weren't going to have it here by Christmas I would have looked somewhere else or just done something else. When I called them it was like, "well it's not here". "We can't always get them in on time because of weather.... " But there hasn't been any real weather issues since it was ordered. I would not recommend using Lowe's if you need the item to arrive on time. "
"I ordered a refrigerator online during Black Friday sale and was given a delivery date of 12/7 initially. Close to the 7th, I received notice it would arrive the 13th. When no show on 13th, I began the tedious process of trying to communicate with real people regarding delivery. After numerous attempts I received notice delivery would be on the 18th. On the 18th, I received email from customer service/delivery that the refrigerator had never been shipped from the vendor and I would need to reorder. I received another email today stating delivery was scheduled for 12/23, though I had been told the refrigerator I ordered was not available until mid January and I would need to reorder. After communicating to customer service, I was told my order had not been canceled though it was not currently available. Aargh! Enough already with the bot emails and ghosting delivery. No go with Lowes.com. "
